I assume it is the same as the RF-5 to RF-35 the driver is supposed to be more effecient with less power. But I ask our rep.

Also you need to consider if they are a dealer or sell authorized product. Cray Eddies for example cuts the S/N off and puts there own on. If in doubt call klipsch and find out. I currently work for a authorised dealer in GA

In the pro side of audio we always put about 10%-30% more power to the box then the rms rating. It always made it sound better and more responsive. Of course it makes it more costly but worth it to me. I plan on bi-amping my RF3's as soon as possible
