Yeah Maynard James Keenan is the lead singer for Tool, and Billy Howardell used to be the guitar tech
  2. Well I just got back from the Pittsburgh show, and I must say I am still in awe. This band is flawless while on stage, their chemistry is amazing. Maynard's vocals are so clear on perfect, I couldn't believe it. It was a very good show, there was no moshing, flash photography (Maynard HATES that), and was generally a very respectful crowd. As always, Maynard and James Iyha (sp?) provided some comical relief every few songs, and Jordie White (Twiggy) had an awesome performance. The band seemed very close on stage, and like I said before, were just simply amazing. I recommend you guys check them out!
  3. Oh man how sick would a Danny cam be? I really hope they do release it, my bootlegs are getting old too That will be one hell of a night...my Revo, my Ultra's, and my live Tool DVD
  4. Try plugging them directly into your sound card. With cans like those, I would never plug them into the control pod, you just loose too much clarity IMO.
  5. I vote for Seven, I thought it was pretty creepy. Also, The Ring is definately up there...
  6. Has anyone heard about this? I think I heard something a little bit ago, and I was wondering if anyone knew for sure that Tool was releasing one. I really hope so, since it should be able to hold me over until the put out a new album *knocks on wood*
  7. I think you have to expect APC to sound like Tool, I mean come on they have the same lead singer. Tool although, is much more dynamic in their songs. Danny Carey is amazing, and does things to the songs that APC can never make me feel. I love both bands, but like someone else said, APC is more "short and sweet." btw, I have front row seats to the APC show Nov. 18th, it's at my University edit: Have you guys heard the Tilling my Grave remix of Weak and Powerless? It's off the underworld soundtrack I believe. Also, for those who haven't heard this CD yet (13th Step), check out The Outsider, Blue, and The Pet. Those are my favorites

    The Who

Wow, as soon as I read this "Naked Eye" came on from Winamp! Man I just rediscovered why I reripped the Whos Next CD at 320kbps, they rule!
  9. I've been a hardcore Tool fan for about 5 years now, and I would recommend them to anyone. They also opened the up doors to Radiohead and A Perfect Circle. Also Peach and Muse, I know Tool does a cover from Peach. So there are my suggestions
