you still looking for the Tangent 10's

I have a pair of Tangent T10, been running them with a vintage Marantz 2285b in my office. They are all about the horn. Some things sound just great. To my ears acoustic instruments sound great, like the speakers are an instrument all to themselves. They are off the scale efficient taking virtually not power to drive them. They fail on pop music as the higher end of the low range odd. They do have a kind of going to the live concert sound to them, if that is a sound. So you can pound them on stadium rock. I know this post is a bit stale, but someone will find it in a search some day.

I just got a vacation type home and need a system. I bought a pair of Klipsh tangent t10. They seem to be 94db, 8-inch woofer, horn tweeter, small non-ported box. I want to spend less than 200 bucks for a receiver, eBay probably and need suggestions from this learned lot. Most music will be digital off satellite, vocals with acoustic guitar, and acoustic new age jazz. I listen at moderate to low volumes. The room is small and rock hard. 9-foot ceilings, tile floor, 12 by 13, and even the walls are plaster on adobe. I was thinking about marantz 2250 or the like, but then I have been reading your collective posts and see this may be a bad match. I have to admit, I am not that knowledgeable, so things like push pull do not mean much to me. If possible, I am looking for specific manufactures and models that I can go search out and buy on E bay. I thank you in advance for your help. Russ Mead
