  1. Hi, Just bought a stereo system (sharp 1 bit SD-SG11) that has an amp which does not have a sub output. So I can only make a connection with the amp with the 2 satellites on my 2.1. Is there any workaround this problem besides getting a speaker to RCA connector so that I can connect the input on my satellite (mini plug to RCA cables) through a coupler? Please tell me if there are any other alternatives. Thank you very much.
  2. Nothing to lose at all, I wanted to get a high quality CD player, and it usually costs about 60 to 70 bucks. Since this unit also has MD (which I think it never got popular in North America) player in it, I think it is a pretty good deal.
  3. http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=90128037&loc=111&sp=1 I meant it did not become popular.... hence the price drop. There is no retail store that has this, so I can't really tell if the oversampling make the output very good.
  4. Hi, Where can I get a good document explaining how the 1 bit audio from Sharp works? All I know right now is that they have ultra high sampling rate @ 2.8Mhz while conventional ones sample @ 44.1 Khz. But is the difference noticible? It was released in 2001 and I did think it became popular. Originally selling for over $1k on the SD-SG11 model it is now selling for like $130. So just wondering is it justified to buy? Thanks, ED
  5. Thanks for your response. I know that William Tell's overture is a good piece to test out the PM - if it can accomadate the crescendo's and the dynamic range, and the blend between highs and lows. I also liked the Manificent 7 in that Round Up CD. I'll get it. Is "Finest Music Components-Leonidas Kavados" also recommendable? Ed
  6. Hi, I would like to know which CD I should get for William Tell's Overture. Is the album named "Round Up" good? It is by Cincinnati Pop orchestra and it was released in 1986 conducted by Erich Kunzel. Or is there a better one to get?? Thanks for all of your help. Ed
