  1. Exactly. Just like an ordinary connection. if you're not into bi-wiring/bi-amping thing, just use one set of speaker wire terminals.
  2. Yes, Bi-wiring brought back to life! I've read a bi-wiring article in a certain X-brand speaker site claiming that their bi-wirable speakers x-over were engineered with completely separate hi-pass and low-pass sections...it also says -"the effects of bi-wiring are not subtle. The improvements are large enough that a bi-wire set of moderately priced cable will usually sound better than a single run of more expensive cable". Since i'm not familiar of it, i wonder if klipsch engineers did the same with all of their so-called bi-wirable speakers' crossover(s)...or they just put those extra posts at the back of the speakers for marketing purposes?
  3. Thanks for all the feedback guys. Uh oh, there's a great debates out there (not only at klipsch forum) regarding this bi-wiring thing.i guess it's best to try it myself with my own speakers and hear it with my own ears..and my ears be the judge(s)...and whatever i may find out i'll be still happy cause I'm one of those proud owner of a klipsch speakers

    Foams

Let's put it this way, when you talk with your mouth's full(of food of course), the sound will be muffled or dead. So in my opinion the foam should not be loose and not blocking the air/sound passage coming from the drivers down to the port's opening.
  5. Get an M-Audio Revolution soundcard. And please do get a real PC speakers...
  6. Guys, to bi-wire or not? Is there any obvious sound improvement of a bi-wired speaker over the one that's not?

    Foams

Thanks for your feedbacks, guys. These clarified the matter. By the way, mine is "neatly" (no flip-flopping) sets at bottom and sidewalls near the port opening. From the port's mouth and up it's clear except some dangling wires which, i think, should be pasted.

    Foams

Skonopa, Thanks for the second opinion. "Dampening" - that's the term. i've been hearing/reading about this before but still i wonder if klipsch have put those foam paddings when they ship their NEW speakers.

    Foams

when setting up my new pair of rf-25s i discovered foams neatly place (inside) near the ports opening. is this normal to all klipsch ref. series. my synergys have none
  11. Try auditioning some of these recs with your system...in the end your ears will be the best judge.
  12. Got my new RF-25. What you guys think the best match center speaker for it - RC-25 or RC 35.
  13. Alright then....I can now enjoy the SOUND minus the "bad" thoughts Thanks!
  14. got my pair of RF-25s from the Good Guys yesterday and then tonight i noticed the serial # are not the same. The salesman even delivered my purchase at my doorsteps unfortunately I didnt notice the thing right away. I'd like to think that i got a 100% brand new speakers but the "unmatched S/N" still bothers me. Before calling the store tomorrow i would like to hear from you guys - a little bit of your opinion about this...mismatching!
