  1. Make that three votes for the RS-7/Legends combination. Just recently added a pair for HT listening and they are indeed seemless and sweet.

  2. Just added the RS-7s to my Legends' lineup. Very nice match and at $599 a pair, a no brainer.

  3. Jason, before you do anything really expensive, do yourself a HUGE favor and try this cheap tweek...bi-wire your main speakers. When I first bought my KLF-20s I was so unhappy with the sound the first few days, I was about to haul them back for a refund. As a last ditch effort, I removed the golden bridge and bi-wired them and that helped smooth them out considerably.

  4. Hi, Ed. I can sense the tone of frustration in your note. Two quick suggestions before you do anything drastic. First, if you haven't tried bi-wiring your mains, give it a try with at least 12 guage wire. Second, I was under the impression that ATI amps were a bit harsh with a Klipsch setup. Try a Rotel amp. The high end is slightly rolled off by design and mates well with Klipsch. Very sweet combo. Let us know how it turns out!!!

  5. Had been waiting for the RS-7's to be introduced to add quality surrounds to my setup. Had been running an old pair of Pioneer 3-ways as surrounds prior to getting the Klipsches. I listen mostly to HT movies and the improvement is dramatic. Very smooth sounding speakers, enveloping, with a huge soundstage. They seem to be an excellent match with my Legend speakers up front. Very happy with this addition.

  6. Just ordered a pair of RS-7 surrounds in white for $599. There is a three week wait for the whites. RS-7 speakers in black are available, but you may also have to wait for the whites. Haven't heard these babies yet, just going on faith.

  7. Alynmar, if you wait a couple of months (like I am) you'll also have an opportunity to check out the newest Klipsch rear surround, the RS-7. It's apparently a "supersized" version of the RS-3 and recently debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
