Heavy duty zip cord doubled up. Works a treat!

What about rythm players? I can't even think of anyone to come in second. Keith takes it by a mile.

Is it normal to have one channel set at like, 12'Oclock and the other at 2'Oclock. I'm wondering if I have a tube going/gone.

Without blowing anything up?

And not hurt the unit.

I can't see any visible fasteners. There is a hole at each end, but no screws.
Thanks
Mark

Bump for an update

'Drums and Wires' wasn't bad either!
And yes, I can't imagine it getting any better, although a recap of the Belles is in order and a 'real' cd player.

I can't describe how great this setup sounds. Songs I have listened to a million times and thought I knew note for note are revealing nuances I never knew existed. I just thought I'd list some of the different things I listened to yesterday:
Xtc- English Settlement
Laurie Anderson- Mr Heartbreak
The Move- Message From The Country
Marshall Crenshaw- The 6volt Years
And I topped it off with Live at Leeds
I got shivers down my spine and tears in my eyes! Thanks Craig, Mark and PWK!

I like to occasionally crank up the Floyd. I may be old but I aint dead yet.
My room is 15/24. Belles are on the short side.

I think that paying about 100k out of 250k in taxes is plenty. Just my 2 cents.

Hi
Is anyone using a Mingda 34a with their heritage speakers? Or any Minda amps in general?
Cheers
Mark

Sorry, I hit enter before I was finished. Loud and our front room is about 18' X 18'

Well...
I'm basically stuck in the 60's soooo Rock and jazz. Beatles to The Who to Pharoah Sanders and Lonnie Liston Smith.

Hi
I'm brand new here, even though I've owned my LS's for 28 yrs. My wife and I bought them as a wedding present for each other. Anyway, I have been using a vintage crown ic 150 and dc300 for the last 28 years and want to make a switch to tube. I have a Dynaco pat-3 for a preamp and am going back and forth about what kind of tube amp. MingDa MC 805a vs Bottlehead Parabee. Any and all opinions welcome.
UPDATE: you're up to 100 mph, would you kill the engine, or shift into neutral?

I heard an interesting quote this week that would apply in this situation. Something like...."Stupidity is the greatest determiner of destiny."
