Dug this old thread up huh.lol I have decided to keep the 7's. How would the tubes be for HT use? I have about a 50/50 mix of HT and music, so I would like an amp that is great for both.

I hate it even more when people are talking with me and they either sit or lean up on my motorcycle(2007 Suzuki GSX-R600[H]). Never had people lean on my speakers but it probably wouldn't bother me that much.

Yeah, I read some in the forums but figured I would share my own experience. Can't wait to one day be able to check out the new HD audio formats.
You thought DD to DTS was a jump, just wait for HD audio and you will once again wet yourself.

Hmmmm, you have the RC-7 with RF-83's. You should give me the 7 and you go get the 64 and we can all be happy. Hahaha, jk man nice job getting the center! I wish I had one.

I have a Panny plasma, you made a great decision!! Way better than the LCD I had before.

I love it, the room calibration is pretty slick. Got all the measurements almost dead on. It does get pretty hot, but no problems so far.

You know what you should do, you should get the 805, and save a couple hundred dollars and use that to get a better blu ray player, the PS3, even if you don't play games, the load time is worth it alone, at least to me it is.

Well as long as you use HDMI in to HDMI out, the video will remain untouched, which is what I use for my PS3 and Xbox 360, and I have my HD DVR directly into the tv. This is because the 805 will downconvert a 1080i signal to 720p when it is output via HDMI. Not to sure on the Elites cause I haven't looked into them much.

I have the 805, you should get it and save some money over the other two, and you can put more towards getting your 7's.

I think you should watch a movie you are familiar with, and adjust during that movie different heights if you are able to. That, IMO, would be the best situation. Also, I have a question for you, how did you bi amp your mains witht the 605? Did you use the unused rear surround channels? Is there an option for this in the menu? Sorry to go OT.

Would it be advisable to get a tube amp to watch movies with? A 2 channel tube amp for music, then when I watch movies I can just pick up a seperate 5 channel ss amp for the others. Or would that mess up the sound, a tube amp with the mains and an ss amp for the surrounds/center?
