  1. my ht room is 12' deep and 18' wide. Currently I have Forte IIs in front 9" appart, with an Acadamy in the center.Rears are KSP-s6 on side walls, and i can swicth rears to Epic CF3s on back walls remotly if desired. My question is this. In this room will it make sense to put a pair of 1998 LaScalas in front, with the Fortes in the rear, in place of the Epics.I have a chance to buy a piir of excelent condition 1998 birch LaScalas for $1700 (haritage hard to find around here)Local. I cant swing the house they belong in, and them to. I am using a Denon 4800 in this setup and would greatly appreciate any thoughts from more experienced forum members than me. Thanks Dave
  2. Thanks Jim G and everyone for the time and effort on the Epic series. I had sold my Forte's to a friend a few years back to go to a smaller speaker, due to apartment living. I found this unacceptable, and moved, bought what I have figured from this Info are CF3s 3rd rev. ( ser #233597212 & 3) AH!! returned. I have always wondered why they weren't discussed much here. I used them with a KV-3 center, replaced Boston rears with the last pair of KSP-S6s in the country (nearly), and just last week, picked up a really nice pair of Forte'IIs with a Academy center.I could not let the CF-3s go for $635 but that's just me, and I'm gun shy about letting any Klipsch go , after the first mistake. Thanks again. ------------------
  3. Thanks for the imfo. The " remote from hell" has a qtry on it so it can directly inter the color, scroll patterns, graphics, text, and change what is displayed at what times. I rather use a remote than hook it to the PC, and have it auto update from database.
  4. Can someone please tell me how I can find out if the Pronto TSU2000 can replace a brand specific remote? I need one for my HT setup, and I need to replace one for a Spectrum LED wallboard sign. It would be nice if the Pronto would do it. Thanks
  5. Can anyone please advise me on if it would be an improvement to put a slab of granite under my KSW-12? It is sitting on 3/4" carpet with 5/8" of padding now.I have access to stone, and cutting.I thought I would try a 2" thick piece about 4" bigger on all sides. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Dave
