Watched mine several times. Saw this tour while visiting my son. Great show and great venue at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA.

So what DAK stuff do YOU still have??

I still have a directional microphone around somewhere. Used it on my VHS camcorder. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Stud Finders - What are you using

Takes a lot of practice. The measuring on a scan isn't perfect. Still getting used to it myself. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Heck, I am posting from my phone. Judy won't let me have my laptop! Makes posting a lot tougher. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Lung cancer

So I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Very small tumor. Had a lobectomy. Got all of the cancer. It hasn't spread. Surgery was 11-6. Sent to ICU on the 8th with pneumonia and sepsis. Forced out of ICU last Friday evening (good thing!). Been in a private hospital inside the original hospital. Big problem is I also have pulmonary fibrosis which has come on with a vengeance! Never experienced more pain in my life than the lung surgery. Couple of takeaways: If you have cancer with pulmonary fibrosis, don't do surgery. The other; politicians should stay out of medicine. This day and age there is no reason for anyone to be in pain. What is so moral about forcing people to suffer? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

New in my Life Raising Chickens

If snakes are stealing the eggs, put a golf ball, or several, in the laying boxes. End of problem.

    Anonymity vs Privacy vs Security

It really irritated me when the Border Patrol put up a check point several years ago between Alamagordo and Las Cruces. There are at least a dozen cameras on the southbound lane. Many more on the northbound. I just quit going to Las Cruces. Still have to go to New Mexico for work, but stay away from anything within 100 miles of the border.

Anybody ever make Michael Martin Murphy's weekly summer dinners and concerts in Red River, NM? Definitely worth doing!

Going from electric bass to upright bass is not that difficult. You have to develop a feel for the right tone. Pick it with your fingers and forget the bow. I played electric before I started the upright. Only played Dixieland and dance music on the upright, not classical.
