Has anyone listened to the McIntosh mht200? I'm wondering about the quality.

Let's not forget that Mr. Shinall also manufactures 3 other models besides the kks1. Not a bad idea for people w/o square rooms.

that denon reciever is cool, but i would check out the 989v2 if you're gonna spend that much $$$$

Klispsch rs7 sounds good to me.

i have a 787 (not made anymore) and it's been great for 3+ years w/ no problmes. The 989 is expensive but upgradeable which is cool

I understand your concern. I was actually suprised b/c this is the 1st day i've been in the forum, apperently, and i saw Shinall. The reason i jumped on here is b/c i have klipsch center and surrounds. Setup: Sony 57" widescreen, Onkyo 787 A/V reciever (100x6), Shinall XT200'S - main, Klipsch RC7 - center, Klipsch RS7 - surrounds, sony dvd. The Shinall speakers have a horn loaded midrange driver and a super bullet tweeter w/ double, speretly sealed, 12" woofers. If you don't believe me try to get a closer trusted poster to go listen to they - they won't be disappointed.

I recently purchased a pair of XT200's for my main speakers in a surround sound set up and they are majical!! They are so efficient it's unreal. I traded in a pair of klipsch speakers for the XT200'S and when i got them home there was no comparison. Weather watching a DVD, tv, or stereo music they sound extremly clean and clear, very clear. They are solid wood and the construction is as solid as you can get. I have these and they rival just about any speaker i've heard and that's saying a lot. Reguardless what everyone is saying, I can tell you 1st hand these babies are it!!
