I'm looking for a sub for the HT(90% movies, live concerts), whats is the best of the four - 1. Velodyne SPL1000/1200 2. Klipsch RSW15 3. Sunfire True Subwoofer EQ 4. SVS PC-Ultra

Skid what did you end up using for the mount. I have a 55" Mitsu but I don't want the top of the TV to sag from the weight. Did you make a shelf or us TV stand? TIA.

Thanks, yeah I took a peak at the return policy - that thing require an attorney review. Hehe. I've been hesitant to make the purchase, I just may make the hour drive to where there are some high end shops and take a peak. They may have me grabbing my ankles too though.

New question - the B&K has a pretty low THD, the Sunfire is much higher at .5%. Now I've read that tube like Amplifiers naturally have much higher THD(colleration dependend?). The Sunfire is SS though, will I notice the difference in THD between the sunfire and B&K in a negative way?

What do you think of their THD of .5%, will I notice that with the RF7's?

I keep getting different answers on what is a B stock item being sold? Anyone know for sure?

Thanks. I have only read one account of this, but before I shell out any coin for an amp I figured I would double check with you guys. Seems most are going B&K and I can get that locally. Sunfire I can't listen too locally, but I can get a decent deal. Its the mystique of Sunfire that has me curious? One account of buzzing is just that, curious if there are any more. I have not read anything else negative of the Sunfire Grand Cinema II. Is Sunfire all that or does it not hold up to B&K?

I read in a past post here that Sunfire Amps can cause buzzing on Klipsch tweeters. True? I think I'm going B&K but now I'm curios about the Sunfire Buzz? Whats Up?

Its not a matter of how loud since I'm sure the 3805 will provide the volume, just a matter of can I achieve better SQ and maximize my RF7's with a seperate amp. After spending all that coin on the RF7's I just want to get the most out of their potential. No vibrating the neighbors winders just orgasmic acoustical nirvana. Ahhhh. Just wondering if I'm missing something by not pushing more power to the 7's(for the sake of SS,depth,impact not SPL)? Seems like popular opinion is yes it will benefit. I was surprized that the B&K was voted more highly vs. the Sunfire. Did not expect that, but I was really undecided based on what I have read.

If he doesn't have it he'll get it, last I talked to them(last week) they had the 2200's in black or silver in stock. Call (732) 264-3900. They do not sell from their website or ship, you'll have to get in the car and cruise. Real cool setup, kinda like a East Coast Frey's but its a MomNPop Shop. Give Larry a call and let me know how you make out. People are real friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I have purchased from them and I sent a friend there to and he grabbled some gear. Any last minute opinions on the Amp choice - 1. B&K Ref. 2003 (200 x 3) 2. Sunfire Grand Cinema II (225 x 5) ? Some more have to love 'em or hate 'em.....

The Denon 2200 comes in Silver(single disc DVD Audio and SACD). What area do you live? You can check out www.crutchfield.com for specs and then try and find a better deal locally? I'm using a 6 disk JVC XV-FA95 on my second setup, good player, does MP3, DVD Audio, CD-RW, fiber out, component output lil' over 300. I've had it for two years, good solid player. From experience of having both, single DVD would work fine with me unless you are going to keep your favorites on the tray. I rarely take advantage of that.... I do kinda miss a multiple dedicated CD player sometimes(very rarely) just for random play. The 2200 offers more practicality for what I use the majority of the time, you can get deals if you hunt around. Denon is very strict with authorized retailers, heads up. )

Well I heard back from Klipsch and they say to use the keyhole slots with a #10 or #12 pan head 2.5-3 inch screw in a stud. If anyone knows of anything contrary let me know otherwise we'll let this thread fly off the page. )

Ears4me, Big sub or big amp or let it be 3805 rocks solo? I'm not looking to dump coin on bragging rights, just want the coin to Cha-ching when its spent vs. a needle drop.
