  1. I am looking for a fairly new (2-3 yrs) or newer pair of Heresy II's. Preferably in Mahogony or Walnut in mint condition. I am N. CA but will pay shipping from just about anywhere.
  2. I am trying to find a good center match for my Heresy's driven buy a Marantz SR 8400 I just bought. I couldn't agree more a Klipsch/Marantz combo is about as good as it gets. I just had a Marantz 1200 integrated amp brought back to life and have that with my cornwalls in our vacation home, I would put that set-up against anything on the planet, literally brings a tear to my eye sitting in front of that package from my youth.
  3. Thanks for the reply, Isn't an acadamy 11" tall or do I havce my specs wrong?
  4. I am in the final process of setting up a HT in a house we moved into about 9 months ago. I have built a custom Ent. Center Sized to fit a pair of Heresys. After listening to a wide range of speakers I have decided to stick with the Heresys as the front channel. I am now looking to get the Center - Surround and Sub speakers and have the following conditions. A/V reciever - Marantz SR-8400 My center channel space is vertically limited to about 8.25. I am wondering if there is a good Klipsch match for the Heresys that will fit in that space. I have also read about building you own center out of parts from Heresys and that is a definite possibility except the bass drivers would need to be smaller to accommodate the height requirement. Any suggestions on either solution would be appreciated. For surrounds My room is such that I am going to have to use ceiling mounted speakers here. Any recommendations or comments from the Klipsch ceiling offerings? Sub no real issues just looking for the best match for the rest of the system. All replys appreciated.
