  1. I will soon have a windfall of around $850 that I plan to spend on upgrading my HT setup. However, I am unsure of what I should upgrade next. This is my current setup: Pioneer VSX-914k Klipsch RB-35 Klipsch RC-35. Klipsch RS-25 Klipsch KSW-10 Samsung 32" LCD TV If you had $850, would you upgrade something, or save it? Its about 60/40 music/movies. Thanks, Steuart
  2. You are kinda right and mostly wrong. Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" was named after the song "Rollin' Stone" by Muddy Waters which, incidentally (and also completely unrelated), was also where Keith Richards got the name for the band.
  3. Yeah, I neglected to mention that I do have an old KSW-10 that I've been using with the system. It isn't spectacular, but it helps with the bass. So the RS-35 would be the best choice?
  4. I'm building an "apartment HT" setup based on the RB-35 speakers, with an RC-35 center. Would it be better to buy the RS-35s or RSX-5s for my two suround speakers? I was thinking that given the space (16x18) I would do better with the RSX-5 surrounds, and they might also be a bit more aesthetically pleasing. What is the general consensus on this? Thanks, Steuart
  5. I'm thinking about putting rsx-4s in my synergy system instead of the synergy surrounds. Would I notice a difference in the timbre? Would it be problematic? Would they be much better than the synergy surrounds? Thanks, Steuart

  7. I'm looking to start building a home theater system for myself. Currently I don't have a huge amount of money to start (somewhere around $500). However, I'm looking to begin building a system of reasonable quality as opposed to getting a whole system for that much. Should I start with a reciever and two speakers? Should I spend all of the money on a reciever and hold off on speakers? Any help would be most appreciated.
