    Wahoo!

Cool so I shouldn't have too many problems hooking things up to the receiver you think? What will be plugged into it will be Cable and Sat boxes (only have RCA and SVIDEO inputs), DVD Player with Digital Out, PS2 ( have monster RCA cables for some reason), and a little VCR. Am I going to lose a lot of quality if I run the video through the receiver intead of directly to the TV? I can do it through the tv but the only prob is all my RCA cables don't split apart far enough to do that. Anything else I should look at? I did order a bunch of cables from parts express last night. Here is what I have coming from parts express. 100 ft. 10 gauge sound king wire DAYTON COAXIAL DIGITAL CABLE DAYTON SUBWOOFER CABLE 25' DAYTON RCA AUDIO CABLE 3' DAYTON COMPONENT VIDEO CABLE AR PRO II RCA DIGITAL COAXIAL DAYTON DIGITAL OPTICAL CABLE

    Wahoo!

Just got off the phone with my dealer and will be picking up my first Klipsch system Friday morning. RF35, RC35, RB 35. Denon 2105. Got a Titanic 15" kit and all cables etc coming from Parts Express. Can't wait! Any hints on setting it up etc since this will be my first try.
  3. Went and demoed the 25s and 35s systems today at a dealer. I loved em both and it was my first time hearing any true surround sound that good. I think I want to go with the 35 system. Anyways the dealer went down about 15-16% on the speakers and 10-11% on a denon 2105. Will that receiver be a good one for a 35s setup? Want to use sat, cable, ps2, dvd player to plug into it etc. Sorry for all the newb questions.
  4. I'd be interested but I live in Nebraska and doubt you would want to ship.
  5. how much did you spend on your rb25 system? I'm thinking of that or rb35
  6. hey, nice setup I was wondering where you got the stand at? I'm trying to find something like that that will match my 65" TV.
  7. I would also be intrested in hearing how these sound? I seen you can get that setup with a Yamaha receiver at bestbuy for $2000+ tax. Is that a good deal or would it be better to move up to the reference series?
  8. I have no problem buying used if they are in good condition etc. Just to make sure again, RB25's I would want to order 2 pair of them right?
  9. OK another quick question, you says to get RB25's for the main and rear for the first option. So getting 2 pairs would be ok? 2 for front and 2 for the rear? Just wanna make sure I'm looking at the right thing as I'm not really sure. Also if anyone can tell me what Denon or another receiver to check out that would be helpful. Thanks!
  10. Thanks you so much! You pretty much answsered everything I need to know right there! Very helpful and thanks again. I will let you know what I decide and if I come up with any other questions.
  11. Thanks for the reply, the room is in the basement, and is around 13X24 or so in size. I'm leaning towards spending 2-3k for something sounding very good. I would like something that the 2 speakers that would on the side of the tv would be up on some floor mounts, and then the 2 for the back perferably mounted on a wall or standing behind on mounts. A nice center channel and sub. Any other info you would like?
  12. The room is kinda like a living room then goes all the way back to the kitchen which is 13 ft wide and 24 feet in lenth. Bigscreen is back in one corner at a angle but I can move to the center of the wall facing the lenth of the room if it will sound better. I would like something better then the Pro Media. I don't mind spending the money if you can give an idea on what to look for. This is mostly for movies/ps2 stuff and not as much music.
  13. I'm a newb with Home Theater sound and was wondering if you guys/gals can lead me in the right direction? Right now I have a 65" Mitsubishi widescreen, PS2, DirecTV/DishNetwork and want to get a new dvd player/receiver/and surround sound. If you can start me out anywhere I would really appreciate. Name what I should look into and a estimate on the cost please. Would like to go with Klipsh but if something is better for the value that is fine too. Thanks
