  1. Do you think you will still have the used ones in a month or so? By that time, I will have more money, and the speakers will be more used, making them cheaper
  2. Ok, I have to chime in. I have a Rio Karma, and it works like a charm. I know you said you don't want another mp3 player, but this mp3 player is all that and more. It has a dock, which means you don't have to put the power cord in every time, you just put the unit in the dock. The dock has line level rca outs on the back, ethernet, usb, and usb 2.0. Also, ther dock has a light that can pulse to the music, or just stay on. Plus, the unit is A LOT more portable than your current player. It is also the only player to sport gapless playback, which means seamless Dark Side of The Moon (something the iPoop cannot do). It has a 5-band parametric eq w/ 3 custom settings and about ten presets. This baby supports WAV, FLAC, MP3, WMA, and OGG. 20gb of storage, dock, excellent features, great ease of use, how could you go wrong? By the way, I do own one http://www.digitalnetworksna.com/shop/_templates/item_main_Rio.asp?model=261
  3. "Perhaps they roll off the bottom end of everything to get you to buy a sub." Oooh, VERY good conspiracy theory. Best Buy is pretty sneaky, and I bet they would do that.
  4. WOW. I could never have dreamt up something so magnificent.... That reciever is a BEAST! It's height is half its width!!!
  5. I'm interested in the used ones.... There are no marks on them, or scuffs? And no damage to the cones?
  6. Oh, wow. I thought you said RB-35, which is a whole different story. I bet these babies will cost an arm and a leg... EDIT: Not /too/ bad at $700 a pair...
  7. Do the RF-35's have adequate bass without a sub?
  8. Damn, this is getting tricky. A whole 5.1 Synergy system is the same price as a pair of RB-75's. I'm just really poor, and I don't think I can justify spending that much to go the extra step.
  9. That's a hotmail link, not a link to an auction.
  10. What Klipsch dealers are there in Seattle? Magnolia Audio-Video? I know Best Buy has them, and I have a $250 gift certificate there, but they only have the brand new Synergy line. I would have to special order the SB-3. Also, can you reccommend any surround recievers for someone with a high school budget?
  11. Hello, I'm looking into the SB-3 pair, but I don't know what reciever to get. For now, this will be a stereo setup, but I wish to expand into 5.1 at a later date (when I get a job ). So I was kinda leaning towards getting a surround reciever, and then I could turn off the center, sub, and rear ports until I can fill them up with speakers. Is this a viable solution, or should I just get a stereo reciever for now, and then upgrade later? Thanks
