  1. I'm using a Yamaha receiver to automatically optimize my Klipsch speakers. What initial setting should I use on phase and lowpass of the powered subwoofer? Thanks, Bbaisw
  2. I have RF-5's for the front, 4 RF-35's for the back and rear, KSW-12, and a RC-35 which I might upgrade to a RF-7. I have a progressive scan DVD/CD player, and listen to some stereo and digital cable radio. The home theater sounds really good. However, the 2 channel stereo from the RF-5's don't seem to really have the power I thought they would. Thanks again, Clark
  3. I have a Yamaha RX-V1400 receiver hooked up to my Klipsch speakers. In the manual it talks connecting to an external amplifier. I thought you had to have a separate amp/tuner to do that. My question is can I add more power to my receiver by using these pre-out jacks on the back of my receiver, and if so do you have any opinions on what kind of external amplifier to buy. Thanks a lot, C.S.

  5. I have RF-5's and RS-35's for surround. Will a RC-35 be good enough for the center channel. I hear that the center channel is really important. However, going to a RC-7 is about twice the amount of money. Thanks for the advice. C S
  6. I have a one-month old RC-35 for sale if anyone is interested. I'm moving and selling the remainder of my equipment. For $230.00 it's yours (including the shipping). Clark
  7. I have a Yamaha 1400 receiver hooked up to my 7.1 Klipsch speakers. If I connect my Speaker A + B outputs to my Left and Right RF-7's (both terminals on the speaker) will I get double the power (110 watts to low end and high end) or will I just get 55 watts per post? Another way of saying this is, if you connect speaker a and b outputs do you get 55 watts per a and b or 110 watts. What is confusing is that if it was 110 watts then I would have 9 channels of 110 watts. I hope somebody can answer this confused question. Thanks, Clark
  8. I have my Klipsch speakers hooked up to a Yamaha 2400 receiver and a JVC progressive scan player. They are all connected to a Toshiba 57 inch projection television. I'm confused by the DVD format. Which is the best format for watching DVD's in, and what exactly do the formats mean - 480 i, 480 p, 1080i? Thanks a lot, Clark

  10. It's setup with 7.1 speakers. I watch a lot of movies and am really curious what format's (favorites) do you like to listen to your system in...THX, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, etc. I know with a 5.1 disc you only get six tracks of sound, but I want to get the most out of my audio using the right format. Opinions really do matter to me. Thanks, Clark

  12. I just bought a full set of Klipsch flagship speakers i.e., RF-7 and so on. I will be using a Yamaha RX-V2500 to hook up the speakers. I will mainly be watching DVD's and listening to some CD's. On the subwoofer should I just hook it up with the Y-adapter (line in) only? What range should lowpass and phase be set to. I know this is about personal preference, however I just want some specific ranges. The Yamaha has a presence/zone 2 speaker terminal, and in the manual it says you can hook up the bi-wiring speakers to it. Should I use the Bi-wiring on the center chanel to that terminal? Thanks, Ronald
