  1. I have found the Pioneer Elite Plasma's to have an excellent picture. At that distance I would not be to concerned about 1080P. I belive you will find at a very good 1080I will look as good at that distance.

Go have a look at a Pioneer Elite Plasma you will not be sorry.

  2. In the late 70s I frequented a bar (The Georgia Moon) in Augusta GA. USA. The bar was U shaped. On one end of the U was a pair of Klipschorns. They were driven by a turntable and Macintosh Tube amplifiers. They were located behind a screen. Different visuals were projected on the screen. The speakers could not be seen. The sound was very good and I enjoyed many a night there.

The other side of the bar also had speakers for background music. Same music as the Klipsch but at a lower level. The music lovers migrated to the Klipschorn side of the bar.

  3. I have a pair of black 1989 Klipsch Heresy IIs for sale. They sound great but I have purchased RF-7s. Price is $350 plus shipping. I live in SC and would be willing to deliver within 200 miles for $50. I will pack and ship via UPS for $95 (within the 48 states).

I have pictures that I can email anyone that is interested. They are in good condition. Two corners are slightly damaged. Overall 8 of 10.

If I don't get any takers I will put them on ebay.

    thanks

  4. I live in SC. In the summer of 1981 I rode my motocycle to Dallas to visit my sister. On the way I stopped by Hope to visit the Klipsch factory. As I drove into the parking lot I noticed Mr. Klipsch getting out of his car. I walked over and said "Hello, I drove my motorcycle a thousand miles to met you." He replied "If you had long arms you could have saved yourself a trip." He instructed one of emplyoees to give me the full tour including the a new speaker test chamber. It was well worth the trip.
