Thats hillarious! Most trees are brown, last time I checked...Its called treatment. Go look it up on google.
You realy need to reconsider your post and dont bash the integrity of a seller because of something you know nothing about.

Its terminology.
Did you know that most people call RB5's that are in Mahogany - Cherry.
Does that mean we need you to start a new thread, because they didnt use the actual word for it and accuse them of being dishonest and lying about their whole add? -
It makes you feel something:
Something so familiar...except death,
excitement about a new pair of speakers, looking forward to tweaking them...its all too real and definately could happen to any of us.
My prayers.
Unfortunately, I lost three grandparents in a row (within 3 weeks of each other), so death is all too familiar with me.
-
Why did you make a thread about it? You just acuse random people of being dishonest?
Audiogon is one of the most respected and trusted sites on the internet.
I have purchased many things from audiogon and it has always been a pleasure for me. Obviously you havent bothered to do the same.

Birch is Maple, for those who dont know.
A deang'ed crossovered RF7's will definately crush a rf-83.

I swear that at this time of the year, Klipsch-fans seem to die out on the purchases.
I remember back in January-March, I checked Klipsch speakers daily on every used audio site...
and when I used to try to sell my Klipsch, I would always get immediate responses...now its just stagnant.

The SoundBroker is right,
that thing is daunting. I went down to his place and it makes you feel small and insignificant standing right next to it! Hopefully Ill get a chance to hear it once its completed....
then Ill write back on the forums about how my chest was compressed and my heart stopped from so much subsonic goodness!

As picky as I am,
I didnt see myself utilizing all 7 channels, so I passed on the deal...
So im still looking at 5 channel power amps. The 2005 is where my eyes are set!

Had a chance to get one for 1300 a couple months ago on Audiogon. Dont pay too much more than that!

Corvette,
with all your klipsch, you could have every single female porn star that ever existed to get a chance in a picture. I think you feel lonely with all your klipsch...haha. Joke.

No, it isnt a servo sub.
It merely has 'comparable/superior' room correction that is a huge factor in subs because room size/shape/layout plays such a huge role in bass performance.

I have to agree with Colter here,
I have tried denon's, hk's and Rotel's but the Yamahas sound absolutely faboulous with Klipsch...they really bring out the utmost clarity.
They are a bit bright...but not too much, especially in a larger sized room!

Apparantly there are:
6 12" woofers, 64 2" inverted-dome midrange drivers and 40 3/4" titanium-dome tweeters per speaker. I think they msrp for 30k a pair and need a minimun of 75watts to drive them but can handle up to 2kw...so you have to buy a couple of mcintosh 2kw monoblocks which run you at 30k a piece.
They are rated at something like 16hz-20khz.
Here is a better picture.

Any chance of a pair of Klipsch Rf-103's or 104's coming out in the near future? It would definately interest me to see klipsch pull a Mcintosh.
-
Those rf102's are definately the highest rated in the reference lineup. No wonder so many people dont like to downgrade from a 102 to a 83...thats a whole flipping 19 points!

You realize he was quoting $400-500 a month in Canadian currency. That only equals to about $120 in US. It also costs more to pipe electricity through frozen wires than thawed. :-) (I hope you all realize I'm kidding. I lived in Canada for a while and I loved it even though I'm from the desert. And my electric bill is only like $85.)umm my family of three uses around 100-150 a month.........
The Canadian dollar is worth 1.10:
400cd = 363usd.
-
No be annoying but in my part of Canada...which is also yours,
the US dollar is only worth 1.1069,
which translates to about 198x.
(Yes, I do keep track of it daily as it is important to business etc...).
I think you are still working on the 1.16 exchange rate that it was a couple of weeks ago.
-
Believe it or not...its close to 2000usd. Our dollar is strong...too strong.

2k for a pair of Cornwall III's?!
THATS AMAZING!
anyone who thinks that is too much, doesnt value Klipsch enough, nor all it has done for the audio industry. Thats ridiculously good pricing...i would buy 3 sets of these for a nice home theatre setup, at this price, if i were close by!
MSRP for these is 3500.

Relax,
I am 19 and bring in new audio gear monthly...
you have to accustom your parents and if you convince them that this is part of your job, it works. Its the only reason they have tolerated it so far...
on second thoughts, its time to move out.
They are so against it that I even have to pay for the gas if I borrow their van (my little car just cant fit a pair of 'scalas)

My bad: This is a company called X-10 Security...probably because they integrate it with whatever system they use.
I was thinking about X-10 vs. UPB switches...
so if my post seems completely un related...thats the reason.
One of us? Birch RF-7? with DeanG crossover

Check it out Jay,
OAK FLOORING (Notice it looks almost like Maple and a lot like Birch).
