Ok i've looked around so far i like panasonic SA-XR50S panasonic SA-XR70S panasonic SA-HE100 YAMAHA HTR-5750 (as u can tell i neeed a silver color) I couldnt really tell which one was the best but i noticed taht the xr70. xr,50 dont have a sub level control Oh i forgot to mention that this system will be used for 75% music and like 25% movies (if taht makes any difference) Right now i got the klipsch promedia wires (monster xp) http://www.klipsch.com/media/Photos/monstercable51_large.jpg And i took a look at the back panel of the panasonic and it had different imputs so do i need little covertur plugs?

Thnaks everyone u've been a lot of help I still havent decided on a reciever but... just making sure that the only think i need to power the speakers and the sub is reciever and an out from a sound card right? so no pre-amp's amd no amplifiers Sorry i just got a little confused And about the reciever i'll prob just go to b&h and hopefully they will have some on display and i can play around Thanks everyone again

I looked around the forum and supposedly it will work so... my revised question is Is theere anything better for the money ($200-$300) than the YAMAHA HTR-5750 and will the YAMAHA also require me to gget pre-amp? THanks again

Hi everyone I currently have 2 rsx-4's 2 rsx-5's an rcx-4 and a RW-12 sub I want to hook them up to my computer I'm going to use the digital out from my sound card which will then go to the reciever and then power the speakers My budjet is pretty small $200-$300 I am willing to buy a used reciever if i have to I picked this one out nut i'm not sure if it is what i need http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/HTIB/HTR5750.htm Thanks a lot all help is greatly appreicated P.S. do i need a pre-amp????

Yea i have the ultras and am probably upgrading to the rsx4 and 5's The question is which speaker wire should i use I was thinking abou the klipsch 5.1 monster cable But is there something better on the market for the same money?
