Hi guys! after many years I've finally got myself a serious setup! I have a pair of Chorus II with new Titanium Tweeters and upgraded Capacitors from Crites, Macintosh 2105 Amp. (sending it to get serviced) I don't listen to records or CDS ( yet) so I will predominantly be listening to streaming music. I currently run things off the Sonos platform. 1. So for best sound, quality I assume i need a DAC? If so any recommendations? $400-$500 ish? used is fine. 2. I have a Macintosh C26 amp. Will using this make things sound any better? or it just enables me to switch multiple inputs and have the ability to control bass, highs etc. I ask because i need to spend $300-$400 to get it serviced if i want to use it. If i don't need it I can sell it and use the money to get a DAC. Currently using the DAC that comes in the Sonos Conect. Thank you!

i know......... I'll just get the rw-12 and in hte worst case cenario I'll sell the rw-12 and get the new one (i dont like waiting)

i dont know thats what i told the salesman but he said that they now make a rw-12 in silver he said he'll have one in stock in 2 weeks I'lll let you know if its actually gonna be silver when i get it lol

I have a little dilema in front of me I am about to buy a silver rw-12 sub but I'm starting to think maybe i should wait for the new "series" What i need is a 12" sub (it has to be silver) so if the new "series" will have a sub with that criterria and more or less in the same price range.... So my question is should i wait? or should i just get the rw-12? Or.... should i stay or should i go LA LA LA LA LA LA Thanks a LOT!!!!! Hi everyone I have just finished purchasing speakers.. and i need a little advice on a reciever I'm running 2- RSX5's 2- RSX4's 1- RCX4 1- RW-12 After asking here on the forum i was told to go with te panasonic X70 reciever But then i asked at another forum (with a bit more of an increased budget ) and i was told to go with a PIONEER VSX-815-K (about 400) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4153_209695979,00.html Or a PIONEER VSX-1015TX (about $400)http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4153_209686388,00.html so my question if there is anything better out there in the $400 range (no more) and if there isnt should i go with the panasonic or the pioneer This system will be used in a 12 x 12 room for 75% music and 25% movies it will be connected via digital out from the computer THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i got a ofna mbx pro with a HPI engine on it nothing special but it has those expensive servos on it ($100) so it handles nicely i also have a duratrax fronm a few years ago theear u have a lotta cars of cars! this summer I'm making a 4wd ofna with 4 wheel steering if i find some time I"ll post pics also if u can spend that kinda money why not get into planes helis or jets? they are a lot more fun and challenging

Ive had directv and Dish Network........ Dish Network is far superior then direct tv but in 2007 drect tv is gonnna put up a hd sattelite up with over 1000 HDTV chaneels and i think Dish Network's is only gonna go up in 2007 so if u have HDTV direct tv would be better and digital cable's fetures can be replicated with a pvr (fast foward pause rewind etc..) which comes free with sattelite systems

full hd is 1080p which has twice as much information as 1080i read it in some magazine. The future is gonna be megapixel tv's (just like cameras) LMAO they'll be like 20 times the resolution of HDTV

100 meters huh.... if u can find a neighbor thats willing to slit the conction with u... u can eitehr bull a cable or setup a wireless interenet and it'll prob reach maybe u'll have to use an amplifier though satellitle internet service is about $40 a month (i think) and its about the same speed of dsl or a lil slower and about the 56k modems what i meant is they will all work more or less at the same speed. of course if u have less cpu utilization it'll be beter but I'm sure its not significant

get ureself dual 7800's it'll be twice as fast for a mere $100 or so

all 56k modems are pretty much the same....

get some corsair value ram @ newegg.com

ye i know i figured that out a little later cause the box is silver and i though the speaker was silver... now i need to well it and buy a silver one or possibly switch with someone. I think i'm gonna have to put it back up on ebay....lol
