  1. Lol yeha peter, you told me to get it from ecosts or etronics, well loud, when I say loud, its just, loud... loud enough so my mom would be reallllly pissed, lol, anyway with my RVX-350, I used to be able to crank it at -5db and I was happy, I mean, that was loud, yet the receiver couldnt handle it more than 2minutes, now, it cant even handle -10db, go figure, but yeah, I just want to push it and get a good sound, I think I'll buy one from Futurshop, test it for a weekend and return it! (I love their return policy!!)
  2. From what I've heard, Denon is too bright for Klipsch, is that right? I dont like my Yamaha because it's too bright, that's why I thought HK would be a good option! divin11112000, where can I get a SPL, what does it looks like, how much is it!??!
  3. Ok, I asked this a while ago and i'm still unsure, summer is here, more money is coming, it's time to change my stupid yamaha receiver. The only problem is, I'm not rich , I got RF-35 and I'm planning to buy the RC-35 and RS-35 probably next year, so I need somethinig that will be good for the next few years, I'v got around 1000$ CDN to spend... from what I've been told on another forum (ecoustics), I could go with the HK AVR-235 or 335, which would be enough, I just want to crank and dont get any problem because right now, my receiver (Yamaha RVX350) keep chocking when I crank it at -10db. The only thing that bugs me with HK is the power rating, I know that HK is very conservative about their power rating and i'm not sure that I understand everything about the watts/ohm/db etc. the AVR-235 is rated at 55watts and AVR-335 at 60watts and my speakers can support up to 125watts (how can a 55watts receiver be able to provide all the power for 125watts speakers??) I just want the full potential that my speakers can do and I'll be happy! if you have any other options, tell me, I'm confused and that's it!! hehe Thanks!
  4. Might be able to bargin those!
  5. Well actualy I might consider the HK, It's pretty easy to return them since they sell those at Futureshop (best buy) so if I'm not happy, I can return it, Marrantz i'm not too sure if I can find them easily but I'm going to give a try!
  6. Hey gcoker, I know that I should have spent more on the receiver but I got it before the speakers, the thing that happened is I bought the receiver and subwoofer last year to put with 2 other speakers, it would have been fine with those, but then, I decided to change those speakers and the salesman totaly sold me those RF-35, I couldnt believe how the sounded so I got them, but now the problem is my receiver, lol, so I need a new one! So I should take a look at HK over Pioneer and forget about Onkyo? Thing is, I could probably only afford something at the price of the HK AVR235 which is around 899$CDN I believe
  7. Hey, well isnt the HK onlny 55 or 65watts per channel?
  8. What I currently own : - Yamaha RX-V350 - Klipsch RF-35 - Klipsch RW-8 (which will be changed soon) The problem : Whenever I crank the audio too loud, the amp just chockes, I'm pretty sure this 100watts @ 6ohms receiver cant support the klipsch which can take 125watts @8ohms. I've read on this forum that the Pioneer Elite series would be an awesome choice for the Klipsch speakers (since klipsch is very clear and Pioneer would help that), the only problem with pioneer is that its pretty hard to get those over here so I was looking for Onkyo, I can afford the TX-SR602 and maybe the TX-SR702 so I was wondering what you would do and maybe some feedback about Onkyo, also I'd like to be able to use the full power of my speakers so maybe the TX-SR702 would be a better choice, I'm not using the Klipsch speakers for movies (HT), only for stereo music! Thank you a lot! Here's some link that might help you! http://www.onkyousa.com/prod_class.cfm?class=Receiver http://www.yamaha.ca/av/Receivers/RX_V350S.jsp
  9. Lol guys, I dont have a BB guns... the thing is, we always throw our jacket on the floor near that speaker, maybe one of the jacket hit it
  10. That's the thing I'd like to know... I Dont know what happened!!!!!
  11. hehe thank you for understanding me! Those RF-35 cost me a lot of money hehe and since im only 20, that's even more money, so I decided to put the protector on them, this sucks but ohh well
  12. Oh my god, this is the biggest nightmare that could ever happen to me! I was cleaning my room when I saw this on the lower woofer, I couldn't believe it and was freaking out!!! Theses speakers are only 3 months old, anyway I had to share this because i'm still freaking out! http://www.digital-skyline.com/vgtvidz/speaker.jpg
