  1. Hello, I'm moving soon from my parents home and i'm building my new HT. I currently own a Harman Kardon AVR340 receiver and the HSU VTF-3 MK2 subwoofer and I've now been looking for the speakers. Here in Canada, we can get the Synergy F-3 for 599$ CDN (pair) and the Klipsch RB-61 for for the same price. (I know it might sound pricy for the people in the USA, but hey, klipsch is pricy here in canada!!) Anyway, my question is, since I can't do any A/B test with them, which one would you rather have with my setup? Of course I'm going to buy the center channel and the rear speakers later. But for the price, would the Synergy be a better deal? Thanks!
  2. Of course it would be a better idea =) and when you get more money, you move those RF-15 as your rear speakers and you get the RF-35
  3. Why don't you go with the RB-35 and the RW-12, I'm sure it's going to be better that way, I've heard the RB-25 with the RW-12 and I thought it was really good.

Wolf, nice cat, looks like mine Shane, the exchange rate is around 1.25. Also, I believe that the MSRP is higher here, all the stores I went to retail the RW-12 for 899$ CDN. I'm sure I'd be happy with the RW-12 but im still looking at the HSU SFT-3, looks like a kickass sub too.

Frzninvt, here's the deal I can get... i currently own the RW-8 and the store is willing to give me 250$ CDN for it... also, they're seling me the RW-12 for 750$ CDN - 250$ CDN (from the RW-8)... so it would only cost 500$CDN which isnt bad I think. (also, I only paid 300$ for the RW-8). Wolf, did you get the sub?

I live in Quebec, Canada, we dont have any Best Buy here =/, I guess I will have to find a retailer with the Synergy line.

MrMcGoo, you said that the SUB-12 outperform the RW-12 on paper, but in reality, which one is better, I'm really wondering which one I should buy because I don't know any store in my area that carry the SUB-12 so I'd have to order it. I heard the RW-12 and I thought it was really good... Wolf, I would also go with the sub then get the RF-35!
  9. Blackmesa, I've already asked this question but no one really answered my question, maybe you'd be able to help me out!... note that all the prices are canadian. The Klipsch RW-12 is retailing at 899$ over here. The guy at the store is willing to drop it to 750$, I told him I already have a RW-8 and he willing to give me 250$ for it, so the RW-12 would only cost 500$ CDN, which is , in my opinion, a good deal. Now, I could possibly get the HSU STF-3 for something around 750-800$. From what I've read, the SVS PB-12 ISB and the HSU STF-3 are pretty much the same! I'm pretty lost and I'm not sure whawt I should do.
  10. I always wondered something. Is the Sub 12" better than the RW-12?? Is it louder? never had a chance to see/hear one!
  11. Theses days... Copeland - In Motion Dredg - Catch Without Arms Underoath - They're only chasing safty (been in love with this CD for over a year now) Emanuel - Soundtrack to a Headrush Amberlin - Never Take Friendship Personal and some others... ohh yeah... I'm 100% sure you guys don't know theses bands, I'm probably a lot younger or you are all a lot older
  12. Did you ever consider getting bookshelf instead? something like the RB-25 or RB-35, you could pick up a great sub with that and of course, get a new receiver I didnt really like the RF-15 when I tested them, that's why I went with the RF-35
  13. I've heard the RB-25 with a RW-12 and I was very impressed... I would match the RB-35 with a subwoofer!
  14. No I havent, is it better than the RW-12?
  15. Well the RSW-12 is kinda expensive! its like twice the price
