At half volume my v.2-400's are uncomfortably loud. Mabye you got a bum set. I listen to these things below quarter volume.

Just picked up a Toshiba 40H80. It is a 16:9 set and the picture is fantastic. It supports 480i, 480p and 1080i. If all you are after is a great set to watch movies on, this is the TV. I got it for 1,800 USD and for a little more you can get the 56H80. Regular 4:3 viewing can be done via a stretch mode or with added grey bars on the side.

I had the same problem to. I had to send them in for warranty work. I would get in touch with Amy if I were you.

That much power will be more than enough to drive the KLF-20's. They are very efficient speakers.

I am wondering how the RF-5 and the RF-7 stack up tonally with the RC-3 and the RS-3? Can they be combined? 'Cause I am thinking about moving my RF-3 to the rear side and the RS-3 to the rear for a 6.1 set up and using the RF-7's as mains. Can this be done?

You guys need to see the specs on the RSW-15 that was posted on the HT board under the topic of the new products at the CES.
That 15 is gonna own a lot of other subs on the market.
Now to get rid of the PW-2200.

Why didn't I wait until this May to get them?! I have to have the RSW-15 and the Rx-7 line!
Suggestion - Have a give away contest for registered board members. Would be a great promotion

Jolly,
I think that you are right with that theory. It makes a lot of sense. The wood veneer would likely increase the price.
I think that RF-7's then would probably have 10" drivers and the centre and surrounds would have 8" drivers. (I think George said that already)
I really like the new finishes as well, I hope my wife will let me upgrade already

I think that they have to be the Rf-5 or the RF-7 due to the fact that they have a real wood veneer whereas the RF-3 only come in a black ash vinyl veneer. They are pretty lookin' speakers and I think that I can find a spot for that sub in my living room

Here is a photo for you guys. I had to search long and hard to find something to satisfy my craving for more info

I have had my pro's since January and have never had any crackling when I adjust the volume. The pream is as smooth as butter. Relax and call tech support, mabye they can help you out.

I have one and it is great. A lot of bass for movies and good and tight for music. For the money it can't be beat.
