  1. Hi I'm wondering whether these will fit into my room corners, but the Klipsch site specs only list (I guess) the effective square dimensions: DIMENSIONS: 52" (132.1cm) x 31.25" (79.4cm) x 28.5" (72.4cm) Does anyone have the true dimensions of all the sides, so I can find out exactly how far they extend along the corner wall and also how far they protrude into the room? Also there appear to be small slots cut out of the sides at the bottom, for I presume fitting over skirting boards (not sure if that's what you call them in the US). How big are these exactly and can they be enlarged if necessary? TIA!
  2. Thanks for the reply. I've no idea what 'n' gauge lamp cord is - it's all referred to as multi-strand or solid-core cable over here. "79 strand" is a common budget choice. I'm guessing that most cable will do the job from what you say. Regarding the actual connections themselves, http://www.alkeng.com/dload/taps.pdf has quite a good picture of where things go. The spade connectors though are proving troublesome - all I can find are these: http://www.hifistore.co.uk/product.php?qsProd=IXOS207 http://www.cse-distributors.co.uk/cabmgmt/insulterm-pf.htm#Hooked%20Fork%20/%20Spade bottom of http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/page13.htm http://www.russandrews.com/product.asp?lookup=1&region=UK&currency=GBP&pf_id=3910&customer_id=PAA1193029705269XNRKEXMHDRNPXDBW but I've no idea which size is correct. Any ideas?
  3. Hi I'm a Klipsch newbie who just got a pair of LaScalas and I'm rather baffled by all the connectors on the back! Which type of connectors and cables should I use? I'm used to speakers being hooked up with banana plugs etc. In case it makes any difference the LaScalas have ALK crossovers. Also I'm in the UK so please bear that in mind if suggesting anything specific i.e. there's no Home Depot or Radio Shack nearby ;-)
