  1. Hi, I've been doing Google searches to try and find some reviews on the Klipsch RF-7 (other than AudioReview.com) but can't find any. The RF-7 has been out since 2001 so I know there must be some reviews out on them. Can anyone direct me to where some reviews are on them so I can read them? I did see that "Vacuum Tube Valley" magazine issue 19 at www.vacuumtube.com did a review on the RF-7 but no online access to read that article. Can anyone recap what that review said? I looked for it at the library but they don't have that magazine. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks! Kathy
  2. Looks like Klipsch has jumped the price of the Klipschorn's from $5,000.00 to $7,500.00 in such a short time. $2,500.00 jump just because you have to special order it now. Some guys were telling me that I could build my own from a kit. My brother said if I get the kit, he would build it for me because the materials used in the Klipschorn don't even come near the cost that Klipsch ask for them that it would be better for him to build it for me, plus he loves to build things, he is very good with carpentry work and has made me some beautiful bedroom dressers 4 years ago. Can anyone tell me how I get the kit or where to order from so I can let him start building me a pair of Klipshorn want-a-bees? Thanks, Kathy
  3. Hi, I've been thinking about getting the Klipsch RF-7 for some time now but the Premiere line seems to be taking a long time coming out so I'm thinking about going ahead and getting the RF-7's after I heard them at my friends house, her husband has had his for about a year now and loves them. I've been floored by the sound, so live and real sounding than any thing I ever heard. I can't imagine the new line could surpass it because it just doesn't seem like you could get any better than that RF-7 already is. My question is this, it's a 2-way system and the new line will be a 3-way system. If the RF-7 is only 2-way, does this mean that the horn on it does both the tweeter and mid-range horn work all on one horn? Should I wait for the 3-way if the performance will be better on the separate horns for the tweeter and mid? I just don't understand the 2-way vs. 3-way thing means? Thanks for any help. Kathy
  4. Hi, Klipsch was coming out with a 2-way Reference Premiere that was at audio shows over a year ago and I saw what they looked like but I've never seen them come out over the following year. I read the annoucement of the new Reference Premiere Series 3-way on the Klipsch website on Sep 2004, but now I noticed it has been removed. What's going on? Has Klipsch decided to not go ahead with it? I've been holding off from getting the RF-7's because I thought the new line was coming out but I'm not so sure it will? Anyone have anymore info on it?
  5. Dylanl, those RF-7's don't look like they are setup for the best sound and soundstage! They aren't setup how the manual recommends for best.
