I have a pair of LaScalas in a two channel set up. Could someone suggest a SUB for this setup. Also I've never owned a SUB before, therefore would I benefit with just one or two?

I have a Sony TA-F700ES intergrated amp. that I purchased new in 1987. It is hooked up to a pair of LaScala's. Never had any problems with it. Sounds great. Though I am looking to upgrade. Any suggestions??? My upgrade has nothing to do with surround. Two channel stereo is what I'm looking for. Possibly even 4 channel.

If you have the room for a pair of LaScalas, GO FOR IT!!! Some people say that you will need a SUB with them, but I've been having a pair now for the past 18 years, and I will tell you that they will shake your teeth loose!! If room is a factor, a pair of Heresys with a SUB will do great!! I don't think there is a speaker on the planet the size of the Heresy that will crank out the awesome sound and volume that they do. I know, because I have a pair of they also. No matter what pair of Klipsch speakers you decide to go with, you can't go wrong because Klipsch speakers are the Best on the planet.

I plan on having all 4 speakers playing at the same time. I listen to all sorts of music. From jazz, country to rock-n-roll. My current power source is a Sony TA-F700ES intergrated amp that a purchased about 18 years ago. It still works fines, but I would like to purchase something new. When briefly looking around at the local Hi-Fi audio stores, I noticed just about everything today is centered around surround sound systems. With that said, is there something that someone out there could recommend to me, that is better for me to play my LaScalas and Heresys with. Or, do I do better just sticking with the amp I have. Thanks for your response! Room size is 35'x20' Budget around $3,000.00 I mentioned amp/pre-amp. But basically looking for the best power source for LaScalas and Heresys. To play music, not really interested in movies.

Hi, I'm new here, and I was wondering if someone could help me. I'm not interested in surround sound for watching movies. My interest is in play music. I have a pair of LaScalas and a pair of Heresys. I'm looking to upgrade to a new amplifier, pre-amp etc. Could someone help me with the best combination. Thanks
