  1. Like Mike said if you can get it for a song then go for it. It may work for awhile or forever. I have a 330c and have had the 330b as well. The B was nicer as far as sound and such. The C is more stylish looking I think from my memory. But looks aint everything. Don't pay anymore than 20-40 bucks and no one gets hurt. Mark

  2. Yeah, I can't see the Patriots losing this one. Right now I'm in the Boston area for work and the people here are insane about their team. It sucks not being home for the game. But this is the place to be tommorow unless you're actually at the game.

  3. Hey Oldbuckster, Congrats on your Cornwalls. If you require any help with your crossovers or anything you decide to do to them and require help. I'm about two hours or so away. You can order whatever you need and we'd install it together. Just an offer. All I would require is some good conversation and a few beers or so. Mark

  4. Hey all, Just figured I'd post a quick picture of my first veneer job. Here's the Decorators I got from Doug ("tuned4life"). I used the Titebond II method with an iron. They came out pretty good. Right now I'm waiting for the linseed oil to dry before I poly them or whatever I'm going to do. I'm not sure yet. The camera is cheesy and doesn't really do these justice. The grain starts at the top of the speakers and is lined up with the front and bottom. In retrospect I wish I had mirror imaged them instead of having the grains match perfectly. They're still keepers though. Thanx to Greg Roberts for the nice pictorial and the rest of the forum who I used to make this project successful. Mark

  5. Hello all, Tunedforlife (Doug) dropped me off a set a set of Decorator Heresy cabinets this week. They are going to require veneering. I called certainlywood.com yesterday and the veneer arrived today. Coincidently the fella on the phone knew are very own Greg Roberts. I ended up selecting the Ambrosia Maple. Anyways here's my question. Since they are decorators should I lay the veneer so the grain on the top and bottom of the speakers lines up with the motorboard or should I veneer them in the traditional fashion where tops and sides match? I've read all of the threads pertaining to veneering that are available here on the forum. I'm going to use the titebond and iron method. Hey and another question while I'm at it. Has anyone found a cure for the wood splitting? Thanx for your time. Mark
