  1. Roadhouse Has to be one of the most played movies in cable history
  2. MrMcGoo, Would I be better off simply purchasing a new sunfire 5.1 amplifier vs bidding on a used sunfire amp on e-bay. *I have found that the sunfire signature 5.1 amps on e-bay are a very popular amp to bid on and often go for close to 60-70 percent of the retail price used. (3-5 years owned consistently) *I assume that perhaps that a new sunfire amp 5.1 can be had for less than the retail price from an authorized retailer... Is this true
  3. I have been told the Klipsch RF-7 needs amplication that convey a "warm or neutral sound" Can anybody explain to me the terms "warm and neutral" and what i am hearing with this type of amplification? (music & movies) Would a amplifier described as a neutral sounding amp be a good canidate to pair with the RF-7---or should i look for amplifaction that steers toward the warmer side...
  4. Then... With quality amplification A Klipsch RF-7 owner should see an improvement in the performance.
  5. http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10379 How accurate is this thread concerning amplification of Klipsch RF-7
  6. And here is a quote I found from a different forum...( In reference to the RF-7, RC-7 etc.. home theatre set-up with a pioneer elite receiver) "The speakers you have right now are very efficent. I can not imagine you are taxing the capabilities of your current receiver as it takes proably no more than 5 to 10 watts to drive your Klipsch(s). So an external amp would add nothing that you do not already have. I can certainly understand if it is a case of upgradeitis and having a new toy if that is what you are going through, but any change in sound would be the dreaded placebo effect." I am in the market to add a power amp to my set-up. Somebody, please tell me this post is not accurate.

Dog, why not bring your sub to his house? My 4 door Grand Prix was not built to haul around my RSW-15. In fact, I had to take it out of the box with it barely fitting it in the front seat. In the process of removing the sub i dinged the top of it causing a small indentation on its top. I have never lived that low moment in my life down. Thus, the RSW stays home...

KW-120's Availability on this sub is basically nilch. My closest Klipsch dealer in Minnesota (Ultimate Electronics) does not have access to this line of subs. I noticed the amp is separate... What benefit does this serve? My brother just recently purchased an SVS model# PB-12 Plus/2 and should be expecting delivery of this sub on Thursday. The SVS sure seems like it gives you the best bang for your buck. If it was not for the sheer size and weight of this new sub it would sure be interesting to have him bring it on over and give it a run with my RSW

I am looking for a sub that will give me the the lower bass response 30 hz & less.
  11. Well, here I go again looking for a match for my RSW-15. What do you think of this particular sub from SVS? http://www.svsubwoofers.com/subs_pb12_plus.htm
  12. I will be seeing my brother tommorow (saturday) and will have more info. on his soon to be purchase of this impressive sub. I am still looking for another sub that will serve as a good match for my RSW-15... Something that will compliment the musical side of this sub as well as give me the lows that i am missing... Anything for 1300.00 or less
  13. how would a sub like this perform musically vs the RSW-15. Would it provide that thumpy dynamic punch that i am so accoustimed to hearing. Virtually they are the same price... My brother is working with a company who can be found on the web at www.aespeakers.com ***They custom build similar subs of this type to your spec at a very reasonable cost. thank you jon
  14. How would this sound matched with my RSW-15 http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~acoustic/products/subwoofers/pre_finished/pinnacle_denali.shtml
  15. I have a couple questions 1. Is a 5 channel amp necessary with my current set-up? 2. Would I be better off running a pair of monoblocks to run the RF-7 only? 3. RF-35 towers as surrounds... Powering them through the receiver only vs adding a amp?
