pie5555 dude i just got my kg 5.5's like two weeks ago and i absolutely love them!!!! Seriously they are a great speaker. I have had a chance to buy a the f-3 synergy speaker for the same price but these are way better ( i work at bb) anyways they are sweet.

I'm so happy with them! I was thinking about f-3's because i can get them for about 300 a pair, i work for bb. But i decided no i wanted something that was made in the usa and had maybe a little bit better bass response. So i got these things and all i have to see is they are awsome! I'm so happy with them. I played that norah Jones song on them just to see how brite the horns were and yeah they were a little but not to bad. Now i have to find a center. I found one on ebay a kv 2.2v and for like 85 bucks. Good price? Thanks again guys!

hey Frzninvt, Ok i've found a kv 1 for 35 bucks on ebay. But i really don't think the sensitivity is very good. Only 90 db. Thats like a jbl lol. It was funny today at work i told my friends what i bought and they all thought i was crazy for not kidding new synergy's. I just told them that i'm a die hard klipsch fan. I won't sell anything else unless asked by customers. One other question for anybody i'm having trouble finding a KG 2.2V or 2.5v. Again i work at best buy and i can get a c-3 center for about 130 bucks thats shipping and everything. You think that would match well? Please give info on this.

Hey guys do you know if klipsch still makes the grills for the kg 5.5's. I emailed them about 3 days ago and still havn't gotten a response. Maybe i should call them but i was just curious if anyone knew on here.

Yeah i know the new subs are so much better than the ksw line. I mean the 12 was ok but the 10 was lacking. My parents have an sf-3 system and for the money they paid for it is awsome. Anyways thank you all for the input on the center for my kg 5.5's have just arrived and all i have to say is that they are great and i'm very happy i didn't go with the synergy line. Thing is though i can get new c-3 really really cheap but if you guys think the older ones would match better maybe i'll do that. I just want good sound and i want to do it right.

Well it all on depends what you listen to. I work at best buy so i hear both all the time. I have xm but only because i got great deal on it. But i really like to listen to npr which sirius has. Since they are both about the same monthly now it is a hard decision. But again it's all on what you listen too. Talk go with the sirius, but if you like rock or something either would be a good choice. Hope this helps.

Hey everyone i'm new to this so bare with me. I work at best buy in the hometheatre department and i have acess to a huge discount on klipsch stuff. However, I didn't want to buy the synergy series speakers that are made in china. To me they just aren't klipsch. I mean i know they sound good and are a great value but i thought to myself it wouldn't be right. So instead i bought some slightly used kg 5.5's. I've read on here that these are an excellent speaker. But I have no idea what kind of center channel i should get for these things. Should i get a new c-3? Or an older klipsch center to go with these things. Right now i have a real small set up that consists of not very clear jbl scs 160 small satilite speakers. I mean they were ok for the Dorm room but now i have an apartment and i want good klipsch sound. So if anyone could help me with my problem i'd greatly appreciate it.
