  1. Focal are Good Speakers, try and also check out some Boston Acoustic Speakers. My older brother is into his Sound Quality and he went with 2 boston acoustics z6 speakers. Very loud and the keep the Sound Quality. By reading what you put down, "Best Sound" this might be your choice. My older brother always goes with the best. [:D]

  2. I must say thats true, but not all true.... We have 2 Bestbuys in Honolulu Hawaii. The one in Honolulu, doesn't care about home audio that much. The one at Pearl Ridge cares. Let me say, that the one at Pearl Ridge was a super nice setup for Klipsch. I mean leather sofas, good surrounding speaker postion and everything. They made it like a small bed room only for Klipsch. They had a small glass table in the middle, tall cabinets, fake plants, carpet, lamps, Hudge plasma etc. They made the New Quintet III speakers system like WOW!! The speakers were so lound and clear its unbelievable. When I went over to the other side, it was the floor Standing Klipsch. That set up was super nice to. They set it up just like how they set up the Quintet III. Instead they used the Klipsch Sub-12, F-3, S-3 and the Synergy SLX for the rear surround. The only thing I didn't see, was the Center channel. I think it was hiding behind the plants. I set there for a while on the soft sofa. I thought to myself that this is the first Bestbuy that I went including mainland Oregon, that Bestbuy favored Klipsch.[:D][Y]

  3. Wow! This is the first time, I went to a SPL Competition. This Astro Van, had like 3 [18"] Kicker Solo X subwoofers. This van was really made for SPL. Wood all over, and pixi glass for the windows. He hit at 170 dB! After he hit 170 dB, then he opened the 2 front doors. Pure air pressure bass! I just love the feeling of that. Pieces of rust chips from building right next to it, was falling appart. Lucky thing I have worn my hat. [;)]

  4. 'It was loud, extremely loud' the spokesmodel states after having her hair blown about by that ridiculous display of volume.

First, it is idiotic to subject a human being to that kind of spl in a closed vehicle with no hearing protection at all (witness that she merely plugs her ears with fingers)

The girl must be deff by now haha!

For SPL, to bad they never test out Digital Designs.[:)] http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/woofers.asp?series=9900c I heard they won the world record of 176.5-178 dB! With 6 9915[15"] subwoofers.

  5. To bad we only have 2 CompUSA's in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Yea, life just ain't fare is it. Maybe you should come down over here to Tulsa, OK where we have 1 CompUSA, filled with morons making bold recommendations on what you should spend your money on.....Mean while, I'll will go to Hawaii and hold down the fort until you return.

    HAHA, wow that sucks.....

  6. I must say the day after Thanksgiving at 12:00 A.M, I went to CompUSA. It had like over 1500 people waiting all around the block. I couldn't believe my eyes, that people would wait in that line. Once the door opened, I thought CompUSA would cut some of the people off, but no...... LOL. CompUSA let everyone in the store, when it can only handle so much. Its not even that big to handle everybody. Every row, had like over 20 people. As soon as I went in the store, I had to wait in a long line to get where all the T.V.'s and Computers were. To bad we only have 2 CompUSA's in Honolulu, Hawaii.

  7. $400

If $400 is your price range go with the Sub-12.

    RW12 VS RSW12

RSW12 uses a better quality, more potent woofer,a PR in the place of the tube port. The RSW12 cabinet is much much more inert, braced in the middle(the amp fixed on the middle brace).

This translates into more deep bass output, less colored bass reproductioncleaner bass). The impact of the RSW12 is in another class above the RW12.

This said the RW12 performs great at its price point. And is a very good buy.

But...I have all three RSW's see the smileys, well they are here for IMPACT!

A great inexpensive option is the Klipsch Sub12,a killer sub in its price class.

Christmas is coming soon, and I was also wondering how much louder is the RSW-12, compared to my RW-12 subwoofer?
