  1. I'm talking about Mr. Joseph H. Cox, c/o email, excuse me Giuseppe
  2. Does he have an email address because writing from Italy a letter It should be very slow. I tryed with this halcox@sbcglobal.net but It does't do. Thanks Giuseppe
  3. Hi, ...don't worry, I have two pair of Klipsch La Scala (half '70) and a pair of Klipschorn (firts '80) restored like new. Tomorrow I will be in Northridge and I'm looking for a pair of four way crossover of JBL 4315 or 4343 or L250 for my DIY system: someone can inform me where I can find here stores which have vintage JBL components? I think that Northridge would be the best place in the world for this! Let me know Thanks Giuseppe
  4. Hi, I purchased a pair of JBL 4560 empty and now I'm looking for the loudspeakers. I have a pair of unused Klipsch K401 horns and I'd like to know if It would be a good compromise with a pair of JBL 2425J compression drivers and if I need of a tweeter because I don't know if the midhigh arrive to 20KHz Thanks for your aid Giuseppe
  5. Recently I bought an universal player Lexicon RT10 because I listen to CD (about 1100, SACD 150, 1/2 pop rock '70 1/2 classic) but I have a lot of DVD (about 400) that I listen to in stereo. I do not have an AV system and now It was offered me for a special price a Lexixon MC8 (unbalanced, balanced is better?). Now I'm using a pre ML12 and an ML331 with RT10 (only in stereo) and Klipschorn: if I should change the ML12 with MC8 there should be the problems regarding a new 5 channels power amp and central and rear loudspeakers. I'm thinking La Scala for loudspeakers (my brother has a couple and I could approximately "have an idea about the sound" but what amplifer? Remember that in my life I always bought second hand hi fi components listening to advices of friends or magazines so now I'm looking for advices from my new friends of Klipsch Forum! Thanks Giuseppe

  7. I often read in HI FI magazine that the right power amp for K-horn or La Scala is a tube amplifer with few watts: I admit to not have a great liking for these amplifers and that in the past I always used solid state amplifers. My friend asked me if a Mark levinson ML29 (50 w second hand amplifer) should be good for his La Scala because he listened my K-horn with a Mark levinson ML 331 (my room is 6x4x3m, his room is 5x4,5x3): someone may help me? I have another question, a curiosity: I saw an article of P. W. Klipsch where he daid that It could be improved the sound using a La Scala as central but how It is connected to the amp? Thanks Giuseppe
  8. Thanks for you reply James I know Audiogon and Audioweb too but I'd like to see stores or a place where I could find vintage Klipsch separate components P. S.: I live in Veneto - Italy Beppe
  9. Where I could find in USA vintage klipsch components (I'm looking for K-400 horns not only on Ebay)? Thank Beppe
  10. I hope that sooner or later one of the first lucky buyers of the new La Scala II could describe this "new" sound and send us pictures of these fantastic and unknow loudspeakers! Beppe
  11. I see that I will remain with my opening curiosity about La Scala II! -
  12. I'm with Scooterdog ... to copy and to sell a clone like Shinall is not good! I understand who has little money to spent, buys Klipsch components and builds a loudspeaker ONLY FOR HIM, this is another thing. But the "La Scala" of Shinall is not a La Scala only a copy: I'm curious to see how the new cabinet of Klipsch La Scala was built (front, back, inside) not of Shinall (I should never buy these). Excuse me for my language, I hope to speak frankly Beppe
  13. Thanks to all members of Klipsch forum, thanks to Klipsch very much! This is a great plesure for me to write to beatiful people ... KLIPSCH FORUM IS GREAT! Music is love (D. Crosby) Beppe
  14. I know these ... are there other pictures out of Klipsch site?
  15. But ... why is so difficult to find pictures of new La Scala II? Beppe
