  1. wow i see there are quiet a few!! when did you start buying klipsch?!?!
  2. oops lol sorry shouldnt have said it since i didnt know for sure
  3. lol i tried to help out on your rsw-15 question... lol hope i helped and didnt make things worse for you!!!
  4. lol i might be new but heres my 2-cents anyway (well untill a more experienced member corrects me anyway!!)ill answer what i know.. 1)yes you can connect it from your pre out to your subwoofers line level in jack. 2)you can change your subwoofers "cutt-off"(where it starts to drop in base power)this will be tunable from say 40hz-100hz but this is dependant on the sub. since the rsw-15 is a very good performer down deep 121@30hz! I would say you could set the dial fairly low ( say 60-70) and still get descent power. 4)there will be a phase switchable between 0-180 (to intergratewith main speakers), a volume dial (to intergrate volume with speakers) and a frequency dial as explained above. I also think the rsw-15 as high lvl inputs and outputs meaning you can plug your speaker wiring straight through the sub and then out again to your mains in order to filter the low frequencies to the sub and have your mains only playing above the set cut off limit frequency..there for making less strain for your speakers. 5) I have never had the pleasure of actually hearing the rsw-15 [:$] but i have read some reviews on it.. although audio reviews are mostly sadly full of BS... the opinions vary, many say it is a very musical sub ( which is obviosly what you are after) and some say that it is best suited to home theatre.. but again you will have to wait for someone who knows there stuff to answer that one!!! well thats all. I hope I helped if even a little!
  5. wow! can you really get down that deep with that much power!!!!.... if only i could.[6]
  6. thanks![] and yes I love the way the HK sounds with my rf-15's (Although rarely need the 240rms on board ) although this is my first pair of klipsch speakers to be owned .... the ceramatallic cones drew me in!! I have one final question for the night, my audio dealer although happy to give me large discounts never lets me turn anything in store up beyond normal listening lvls... which is fair enough, so I wanted to know how loud the rw-12 can go?? i know the specs say 113db at 30hz but my minimal experience with subwoofers prevents me from knowing how loud that actually is! so the question is will the rw-12 keep up with the rf-15's? or be to overpowering? and help would be great!!!
  7. and lol the other posts are actually audio queries.... but no one was replying so i thought i might kill some time lol..... i really need to stop drinking those energy drinks
  8. so whats you guys set-up at home like?(if have more than one speaker system just tell me your main one!!) lol i have 2 rf-15's a HK3480 and to finish it off a rw-12 subwoofer on the way...(very hard to pay off when you are 16 and work at a supermarket lol) yes I know many a speaker set-up that would put mine to shame but it's in like a 4by4 metre bedroom, so it does alright by me! plz post back!!! still as bored as ever[]
  9. so what are we all up to on this fine night ( well in australia anywayz) just wondering what all the klipsch owners are doing lol[] (im very bored... can you tell?)
  10. after running some searches on the rw-12 i have come up dissapointed... does anyone one have an opinion on this sub? I have gone into my local audio dealer for a listen and was very pleased with it. If i did purchase it, it would be used for almost only music, running with my two rf-15's (dont laugh....) and a harmon kardon 3840.. has anyone got any opinions for a better sub at this price range?? any help would by appreciated!
  11. tonight i will be going in to the local audio dealer to put some subwoofers to the test for my recently purchased 2-channel set-up. I am using a HK3480 and a pair of rf-15's. I was going to look into getting an rw-12 but my local dealer tells me that i should go with MK for the sub. thus leading to my question, has anyone had any experience with MK?
