  1. How can I pull out a pushed in dust cap?
  2. Cathar country ... A striking view ... God will recognize his own
  3. I thought the Quartets had better bass, according to the specs.
  4. Not a problem. In fact I had studied a little for a Ham license way back when in the late 70's -80's.
  5. In reading the specs I noticed that the Klipsch Quartets have a much lower bass extension than the Heresies, however the Heresies have a larger woofer. Does a passive reflector make that much of a difference?
  6. Easy Question. What is the purpose of the loudness button on stereos? Why not just increase the volume?
  7. Where does Klipsch draw the line between low end and high end speakers? A poster advised that RB-25s were a bit to low end for my NAD.
  8. I have a question about Klipsch speakers. How do the Quartets differ from the Hersey line? What type of horn is in Quartets?
  9. In other words if I find a Hersey with a EV replacement woofer that is no reason not to buy it. That is an awkward question.
  10. I mean does Klipsch use EV components or are they simliar quality. I saw a Klipsch speaker with an EV driver. Also, what is special about Alinco drivers? Vintage Klipsch seem to use them.
  11. What are EV woofers and what do they have to do with Klipsch?
  12. I am considering a Winegard 4 element Yagi that I am sure you're familiarv with. I'd be mounting the Yagi on the second story which is of course only one flight above the ground. From what you said I would think a very large antenna would be a waste at only this height. The RS FM antenna is way to long for me and the APS is right out of the question. Interference and hissing are the two current major problems.
  13. I am looking for someone who upgraded to the better antenna and ideally has it in the attic since that is essentially my situation. It might be a waste if my indoor dipole works just as well. I get fairly good FM but not absent of hissing. Interestingly, no one seems to know much about this. Can I ask what type of antenna you use?
  14. I am considering adding an outdoor FM antenna. The one I am looking at specs 4 db gain. I might place the antenna indoors on an upper floor. Does anyone have experience with these antennas? Will I experience better performance than my indoor dipole provides, especially if the antenna is indooors?
