We are looking at the KSW-12 sub to go with some Epic CF-1 speakers in a HT setup. Any thoughts on what we can expect in performance?

I just purchased the Avia disk and haven't figure out how to calibrate the various channels. If the pre-amp/receiver is set to 0 when you start, do you use the volumne control on the pre-amp to reach 85db. If so, when you go to the next speaker do you return the setting to 0 and start over? I would really appreciate a detailed explanation. I have the Radio Shack SPL,but thought the Avia disc would work better with my new SVS sub.

Sure did. However, Mr. Frawley has a pair of used Cf-1's that he is selling for someone and is asking $400 for them if anyone is interested. Hope you had a great Christmas.

I just purchased a C7 to use with my KLF-30's and now don't need the KV-4. It is black and in excellent condition with no scratches and sounds great. Original owner-smoke free environment. I just purchased an SVS12Plus/2 sub and was wondering what the recommendations would be on setting it up. Using the Radio Shack sound meter I have the front, center and rears set at 75db and the sub at 82. The volume control on the Rotel 1068 was set at 65. This is the setup Rotel recommended. Any thoughts?

Sorry for the confusion. I have KLF-30's in the front, a KV-4 for the center and Forte II's for the surrounds. I'm looking to replace just the Forte II's. They sound great, but are pretty darn big. I have them raised with the horn at ear level.

I'm looking for recommendations on finding new surrounds for my HT system. I'm currently using Forte II's and would like something smaller. I tried the RS-25's and wasn't pleased with the results. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I just ordered the SVS PB12 Plus/2. Once I get it I'll let you know what I think about the sound with music sources. I don't think I'll be able to hide this baby.

THE EAR, If you had the choice between the SVS PB Plus/2 or the RSW 15 to use with my KLF-30's which one would you choose? Thanks so much

THE EAR, I contacted Tom V at SVS Sound and gave him the setup on my system and room dimensions. His recommendation is the PB12-Plus/2. Have you ever listen to this particular sub? I must say the customer service at SVS is outstanding.

I currently have a M&K MX90 sub. My mains are KLF-30's. I'm looking to replace the MX90 and would welcome any recommendations. Has anyone tried the SVS PB Ultra with the KLF-30's?

Thanks for responding. I noticed you live in Columbia, SC. I'm in Lexington, SC. I would imagine you probably bought your gear from Mr. Frawley. I don't have the room for a large center such as a modified KLF-30. The KV-4 sounds really good to me and I'm using Forte II for surrounds along with a M&K subwoofer. I've just heard so much about the KLF-C7 I may just go ahead and buy one and try it out. Are you pleased using the KLF-C7's as surrounds?
