Don't forget the main or front L + R pre amp outs to the subs for added bass.... I would use the previously mentioned y connector for the sub pre amp out to each sub. In addition run each front L+R pre amp out to the other input on the subs....
I am in the market for some Flat Panel Speakers. When I went to a local Klipsch dealer I hear a huge Audio hole from the SLX's and the sub. I think it is with all flat panel type speakers. I wanted to put a plasma on the wall w/ sexy flat panel speakers but, I cannot get buy the hole on the sound. Am I crazy?? I have a 2nd home theater w/ KG 5.5's, KV 3, KG .5's and KSW 15. I think I am spoiled. Is there a way to fill the hole??
Foxkat,
I know it is not the surrounds. When a local shop repairs the coil, do they have to replace the cone as well. If so will it change the sound/efficiency of the speaker???
I know Klipsch nolonger makes the KG 5.2 woofer, could I use a KG 5.5 driver?
I am getting a mid range crackle. Klipsch no longer makes the active driver on my 5.2s'. Is it better to have them repaired at a local speaker shop or is it better to purchase 2, 10" drivers for KG 5.5s.
Thanks,
Tooms

My 10' active drivers in my KG 5.2s' are blown. I called Klipsch and they no longer produce the 10' active driver on the KG 5.2s' and that I might have them repaired by someone else (aftermarket). Would I be better off w/ a KG 5.5 driver vs. an aftermarket driver???
Speedball,
Thanks, I usually have keen eye for the obvious. But, as I can see, not always.
Once i find out, any idea how to get them repaired?
Thanks,
Big Tooms
I have a pair of KG 5.2's and on certain tracks I get a crackling sound from the mid range. I cannot tell if it is the tweeter or the 8" driver. How can I figure this out?
And how do I get either the tweeter or the woffer repaired?
