I do with mine! I only use it about once a year, and I usually have to smack the top of the unit to get it open!

I found if you leave a disc in the player (even a blank one  ) it will open...

That's the cost of the Supplement alone. I have cancer. First in my chest. Then a hip. Now brain stem. Chemo/radiation eliminated the first two. In follow up scans along the way the cancer came back. I've had it all now, it appears. During these 2 1/2 years the treatments were every 2 -3 weeks. The cost for each of those treatments ranged from $21,000 to $14,000, per visit. Original Medicare covers 80%, you pay the rest. The supplement (private insurance) I have costs $202 per month and pays the remainder, including the Medicare deductible. You do the math. I tell you this to inform you of the things that should be of importance to you, in your life. Not for sympathy, I don't need it.

Those things you posted above are banned on this Klipsch forum. This thread could be blocked or eliminated completely. You could even be banned if you continue along that vein. That's the Rules here now. Those things you spoke of are insignificant. Those things will soon disappear like Harvest Gold appliances. The things you should be concerned about are things that will affect your own life, like pensions (disappearing), SS and Medicare. Those things will directly affect your ability to live. Even the best speakers are unimportant when you are dead. I don't know you. You may be set for life. But even if you are you will still pay for those that are not. This Great Country that you spoke of will never allow that. There's a massive cluster coming in the future. Pay closer attention to those Reps that have the ability to effect your own life. Let the chaff fall where it may.

Good luck to you in your life. You can't control your life but you can guide the direction of it. We all reap later in life as we have sewn earlier. I sick of seeing people suffer.

Sorry to hear the cancer came back. Hope they can find another treatment for you.  I am learning more every day about health insurance. When I retired I changed from Independent Health to Blue Cross because they told me I would have the same coverage and lower premiums. I have been treated for bladder cancer for about 5 years now. 3 before I retired and 2 after.  IH covered everything except for a office co-pay, BC did they same but added another $110 for a bladder scope and would only pay $1000 per Chemo and of that I would be responsible for 30%. I have since switched back during open season. I was told the bladder cancer and chemo will be with me for life.

As far as being banned been there...   around Christmas my wife joined the forum unknown to me to get ideas for a Christmas gift.....    someone here thought it was me and took action....

The posting was something I read on the net and thought I would share it ... If it was incorrect I thought someone here might correct me.....

I wish you good luck.  They are coming out with new treatments everyday.

It would be nice if this forum could stick to music related posts only so as not to stir up ..........

C'mon man!  Dissent is not hate.  Disdain is not hate.  Disapproval is not hate.  Lack of respect for one who does not deserve respect is not hate.  Even calling someone an idiot is not hate.

DAY ONE WHAT IS TO FOLLOW

Yesterday was a big day in Washington. As newly-elected members of Congress were sworn in, control of the House of Representatives flipped from Republican to Democrat.

While this is usually a run-of-the-mill process, a lot of things happened yesterday that should concern anyone who cherishes American values and who was hoping for compromise from the new Congress.
Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) refused to take her oath of office on the Bible. Instead she used a law book. I don't know which law book, but I do know this: Long after the senator and whatever book she took her oath on are gone, the word of God will endure.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) took her oath on what she called "Jefferson's Koran." She said, "Some of our Founding Fathers knew more about Islam than some members of Congress now." Obviously she doesn't know very much. Jefferson got a translation of the Koran so he could understand the Islamic Barbary Pirates against whom he would later, as president, wage war. Thus the phrase, "To the shores of Tripoli" in the Marines' Hymn. But she is probably right -- the Founders understood what many elites today do not: Radical Islam is a deadly threat to freedom.
Unfortunately, Tlaib wasn't done. She later went to a reception sponsored by the radical group MoveOn.org. Referring to a conversation she had with her young son about her election, Rep. Tlaib declared, "We're gonna go in there and impeach the mother f---er.'"
And there's more. The world map on the wall in Rep. Tlaib's office had a Post-It note on it labeled "Palestine" over the state of Israel.
Rep. Tlaib is not the only newly elected member of Congress who is hostile to Israel. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) lied to her constituents about her support for efforts to boycott and sanction Israel. The election of these two Muslim women, along with socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez(D-NY), has been hailed by cultural and media elites as "the wave of the future." Just to be clear, they are celebrating the victory of anti-Semites. Some future.
Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) posted the transgender flag outside of her office. (Yes, they have a flag.)
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) introduced a constitutional amendment to abolish the Electoral College.
Not to be out done, Nancy Pelosi made history herself by becoming the first woman to become Speaker of the House twice. And the first bill she pushed through the House late last night was an appropriation bill that gave an additional $12 billion in foreign aid to multiple countries and provided more money to promote abortions overseas, but did not provide one dime for better border security to protect American citizens.
And that, my friends, was just Day One of the new Democrat House!
Islam resembles a cancerous tumor. Get rid of it early, or it will destroy you.

I don't have a debit card, and I seldom use cash.  I have one credit card.  I charge everything - even items under $1.  I pay it in full every month.  Let the credit card company pay me cash back and accept the risk of identity theft.  Works for me.  Plus, counting change sucks.  Swiping is fast!!!

Agree.... with the exception if I can get a discount for cash  a buck is a buck better in my pocket.  My cards are monitored through an OPM service because of a data breach... so far they are pretty good.

I had to sign up twice to this forum and my wife once...  all 3 times after the sign up we started getting spam emails....... your data is never safe

Just be happy your life hasn't been under as much scrutiny as hers, while the conspiracy theory mentioned above can be  researched and evaluated for those that like fiction...Let's get back on topic with this:

I agree we should be wary of what we post on the internet and how we use our credit cards, but the issue is should we try and expose what are unacceptable practices and at least curb, if not criminalize stealing of people's personal material?

I agree we should get back on topic.... but breaking the law is breaking the law    nobody is above the law and ignorance is no excuse

His mistake is old news and now he is a witness in a Special Council investigation.

He sure shouldn't have been talking about it in public and now the FBI seems to be uncovering quite a bit of unsavory and illegal dealings that happened in the 2016 election....

Yes,  but it is all in the eye of the beholder......    too bad they did nothing about hillarys email server....   if I did that I would have been fired then Leavenworth not to mention selling uranium rights. Let us not forget the plane load of money to our friends.....

Maybe there is still time for justice.

Fwiw, I thought Comey made mistakes but didn't think it was conspiratorial and there was at least reasoning behind his various decisions. Again, he had served in Republican administrations and I didn't think he was being overtly biased on Hillary or President Trump. That said, I take you point there will always be some doubt but it's easier to claim 'politics' if the folks are from opposing parties.

Yes Comey made a big mistake...    FBI  Investigation, they investigate and pass on the findings for others to make the determination as to whether anything criminal happened and to prosecute. It was not his call.
