  1. Anyone? I know that I dont have the old school Heritages or Khorns or anything high end. But just looking a for something.... Ski
  2. Thanks, Its probally just the dvd player. I have it all setup right for 16:9 and componet out and all that fun stuff. I'll just be getting a better dvd player and just use this one for VHS recording of stuff. Thanks. Ski
  3. Heres whats up. I have a pretty crappy Sony SLV-D300P DVD player. When I play movies with Progressive scan on. The picture kinda has a real fuzzy edge and not quite as sharp or clear. But If I leave it off and leave the componets hooked up to the tv. Its 10x better. Am I doing something wrong here? Kinda feel lame. But any input would be appreciated. Ski BTW I have a 16:9 42" Toshiba 42h83 RPTV HD
  4. Thanks all for the input. Now I am in the market for a new reciever. looking for something around the 500-1000 range. Is getting something THX Cert really all that? Thanks again. Ski
  5. Sup all. New here. Well the other day I purchased a set of Cinema 6 satelites. When I purchased them from the auth. dealer. I was told that I was getting the satelites only and the sub was extra. I paid 575+tx for the satelites. Is that correct how I was sold the set or was I supposed to get the sub with them? They told me the sub was an extra 285 for the RSW8 or 345 for the RSW10. I'm new to Klipsch and just trying to make sure I didnt get ripped. Thanks. Ski
  6. Thanks. Well, I really think that my reciever could use some improvment. It works ok. but at lower volume levels I really cant hear the depth and clarity of the music. But when I put it higher. They sound phenominal. Just awesome. But yea, I definitly need a better reciever and sub. I didnt get the sub. Just the satelite set. Got them for $575. Hopefully I didnt get ripped off. Thanks. Ski
  7. Sup all, well as it says I'm new to Klipsch. I have just a ho-hum Sony STR-DE595 reciever. It was one of those 5.1s in a box thing. Well, I got tired of the crappy sony speakers, so I did some research and got a set of the Cinema 6s. Since I dont have a large room to fill and there fairly priced for what you get. Well, how do I get the best sound from them? Already sounding heck of alot better. However, I must place my front Sur. on the entertainment center. I will not put them on stands, my dog as a killer wagging tail that will knock them over. and i have to put my rear sur. on the wall up higher slightly behind the listening position. I know, I know not the best. But any input would be appreciated. Ski
