  1. Folks if you have never heard the Oris horns your in for a surprise and treat , and I say that as someone who has owned Jubilees and  most all the Klipsch Heritage series . No not saying there better but they offer a different presentation that is dynamic and revealing that cant be touched in this price range of $800.00 is a true bargain . I payed twice that amount for mine and still consider them a bargain . Using mine with the woofer in my cornwall's for bass i have been very happy .

I think it's more important for the speakers to be of equal distance to your ears. You won't be able to hear the difference 2" to the wall makes, but I am pretty sure you'll hear a difference of one speaker being 2" closer to your listening seat. I am very anal about speaker placement and go to great lengths to get it right.

I concur as well . Well said Shakey .

  3. Like new , maybe have 30 hours of use at most .  It took a $3000.00 (used ) PS Audio DSD transport to beat it . I had owned several different CD players in the past - NAD , Opo , Cambridge Azur , etc .these players were all good but not even close to the sound  quality this transport provided .

Like new with factory box , manual and  remote control . Free shipping , here is the Amazon link $599.00 + tax  , there are also many reviews on line .

  4. I am currently using a Crown 1502 and have been shopping for a 2502 . But you may have a good alternative here for me . Do I understand correctly that any of these XLS models can be mixed together in bridge mode to increase wattage output ?

  5. Merry Xmas to all my Brothers in Music , this site has brought me friends that helped  me though the darkest of times . I will be eternally grateful . The quality of my life and sound system has grown  exponentially with the help and information i have received from this board .

Stay strong & merry my brothers ,

  6. This unit is one year old and has been used less then 20 hrs total . I did a lot of reading before selecting this one . It had the highest positive reviews for under $500.00 , and does sound very good  but i have decided to get out of LP's My music world is all about DSD these days . Have original factory shipping box and Manuel  - yours for $350.00 -free shipping . Here is a Amazon link - https://www.amazon.com/MM-Moving-Magnet-Phono-Pre-Amp/dp/B0756KBNS6/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1N76TNYWONIKV&keywords=rega+phono+mm+amp&qid=1663097629&sprefix=rega+phono+mm+amp%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-1

  7. Sorry for the slow reply Jesse . The Pre is in black . I purchased it in 2019 .  The PL gear is the best I have ever owned , Selling because I have recently jumped in the deep money pit of PS Audio .. My sources and amp or all from PS audio $15K . I would keep the Prima Luna if it had balanced (XLR) in's and outs . Shipping to Washington state from TX will probably run close to $!00.00 . It weighs about 75lb net . I can send you Photos if you want just send me a text

  9. I purchased this about 5 days ago , used less then an hour . Basically a new open box deal , complete with everything it came with original shipping box etc . It sounds wonderful , but I had major back surgery  recently and have  decided I no longer wish to use the LP format . I will also throw in a Project Cork turntable platter mat and a Record Weight Stabilizer . My cost $700.00 - yours for $ 500.00 .

  10. Thanks Gary , my gear is in cabinet shelving  I do allow lots of space between units to dissipate heat . Your  right  have seen to many photos of dac and transport stacked on each other . Ill take the safest approach & give a shelf for each component .

By the way Gary assuming that's you in your avatar -I also have a beard that looks like yours . :)

  11. I have A PS Audio Perfect Wave dac that I like so much that I could not resist the urge to purchase the matching PS transport . I will be stacking one on top of other . Which should go on bottom Dac or cd Transport ?

    Thanks,

  12.

I got this Dac  from friend & forum bro ,  loved the sound but the upgrade bug bit me so spent big bucks on the Perfect Wave Dac .

So here is a wonderful DAC in sound an looks . The photos are poor & make the glass face plate look marred these are just reflections . its in excellent condition . Can also be used with your computer flies  as with other inputs .

It sound great but its not doing me any good sitting on shelf :) .
