  1. Hi I have a pair of Klipsch RF7 II and a RC64 II for sale. Also have a Marantz AV8801 and a UD7007. I bought this stuff this summer. Thinking id get around to using it sooner. The RF7s have been lightly used. The rest is brand new in there boxes still. I dont mind shipping as long as you pay for it. I have everthing to the rf7s. Local pick up is a plus im at zip 27921. Eastern northcarolina.

    2522670421 is my cell.

    thinking

2500 for the rf7 and center channel.

2000 for the 8801 and 500 for the 7007 bluray player.

I plan to take pics tonight but like I said there in there boxes still. Except for the rf7

  2. Well I now have 2 new rf7 II and a new rc64. So I may of had to great of expectations for them. I did just take them out of the boxes and throw them in front of junk... Powering them with old onkyo receiver. Guess I need to dig out my marantz 8801 and bryston 7bs...

  3. Yea I have the lascala's. I made all 7 of them myself. Oak plywood trac horn alk k crossovers. Dont want them messed up at all. 2 are down stairs now with an old onkyo for 2 channel listening sitting on top of empty sub cabinets. Im leaning to the rf7 currently.

  4. Ill probally spend more time down stair next few years anyhow. I have no time to finish the upstairs room. With a 3 month old, work, and working on the house myself when I can.

  5. Yea well there more wall mountable than the lascalas I have.... But seriously forget rear surround speakers I'm just gonna get 2 pair of the rf82 and a rc62 center. Dayton 18 sub flat pack box ...Bobs your uncle

  6. Yea the walls are plaster not dry wall. Maybe best not to cut holes in them. Mabe some on wall speakers instead of inwall. Klipsch reference or something. Room is 15x 45x8 the back 15 foot os so is gonna be a eating area I think not sure how its gonna finish out yet.

  7. I'm thinking of possibly doing in wall speakers in my living room. I've moved to a new house and have been doing some remodeling as well as making use of the attic space for a dedicated room. I was gonna have to buy a tv for the living room soon and got to thinking that the 120 inch screen I have and can't use in the dedicated room any more will do nicely instead. So I got to looking to see what is out there. I found a pretty good deal on a pair of kl6504. though I'd have to buy another for the center and then two rear surround ... getting expensive fast. They will be in the walls not the ceiling. Does klipsch offer anything totally enclosed so you do get bleed thru as bad into the adjacent rooms? Any other brands recommended? Any links on this site to what others have used ? I did a quick search but didn't get much. I will have 7 lascalas and 4 15's for subs up stairs when back going again so I'm not looking for greatness out of this but I don't want it to sound like tin cans and string either.

  8. Guys these are still for sale. I decided to build another pair like i have. Seemed silly to buy these and have to modify them. (trac horn crossovers etc.) They sound great along with the rest of his very impressive gear. Buy with confidence great seller.

  9. Yes sir they are the aluminum cone ones. Ill be reusing the L C R lascalas. Unfortuanly the center channel will be hid behind an AT screen. Ive ordered componets from Mr Bob they should be here next week.So maybe i can get started making the cornscalas.

  10. That was at my old house. when I first got all the Lascalas built and sealed subs cabinets. The lascalas have trachorns, Bobs tweets, k55 driver, cast woofers, ALK universal DIY xovers, The cabinets are oak plywood with hardwood face frames. I then put trim on them. The subs are TC sounds DVC TC2000 in a seal box 2 layers MDF 1 layer OAK. Sombetchs is heavy with no woofers. I ended up with the subs facing the back wall and I added a couple more amps. I ran 2 7bs for subs and 4 4bs for LCR and surround Screen is 120 diag. Panasonic 4000u. PrePro was a 8003 marantz. I have now moved and will have to redo everything. New junk room is in the attic so i have the roof to contend with. Room witdth will be 17x 30 x 8 tall in the center. Planning on using AT screen material. Lascala for LCR. Then im gonna build 4 cornscalas using Trachorns, Bobs tweets, k55 driver and woofers ALK crossovers. Probally look for a couple 3bs and a 5b for motivation. And I have decided to use 2 tc15 to build 2 lilwrecker. The left over pair of Lascalas and sub cabinet im thinking i may set up down stairs for 2.1 listening.

Though I may sell/possibly trade the pair of Lascala on a pair of K horns

  11. Only since last week I removed the ALK Universals from my La Scala's ; best crossover for listening with low to moderate levels.

I've heard the steep slope versions but always preferred the universals myself.

Al does not make a secret about the crossover itself; you could build one yourself if the price is too high for you to have a set build by Aletheia.

As for a sub; I agree with the comments made, no sub will exactly match with a horn. Only sub that I found suitable enough is the REL STRATA III , which can be dialed in precisely where you want it; remember I play at moderate levels and at high levels there's no sub that can keep up with the speed of a horn.

    [i ended up building a bigger hornsystem ;) ]

Are you planning on not using the ALK universals anymore? I only ask because i could use another set.
