If your laptop has 2 sticks of ram you can try to run just one stick at a time. But before you remove or install any hardware always remove battery first. But try each stick by its self and see what happens. If it runs on one stick then more than likely the other is bad. I was re-formating a desktop and the same thing happened to me. It was a bad stick of ram. Testing each stick can't hurt

I would get biggest, badest, center channel I could afford. I also would like to tell you of the horror storys when it come to shipping a RC64. I don't know if there is a good way to ship them. Alot of them are all busted up by the time they get were they're going.

I'm not sure were The Wall of Voodoo is located. What state do you live in? I was working a powerhouse about 30 miles from Hope Arkansas and was staying at Millwood Lake. There was signs saying "beware of alligator'. I never seen anyone swim. I didn't know there was alligators in Arkansas.

You might check out accessories4less.com they have alot of Marantz and other brands that are factory refurbs with a warranty. Its worth looking at.

My 10 year old has been taking lessons for 6 months. I'm really proud of him. He started with a Squier Strat I bought off of Craigslist and it started sounding really bad really quick. So bought him a G&L ASAT Tribute carvedtop deluxe (telecaster style), bought it new. It was $400, it sounds great, it has a warranty and he tends to pick it up more often and thats the key. He has to practice. I have heard the better sounding the guitar is, the more often a person will pick it up. Good luck

You might try a local sale "sale barn". Maybe go and set and watch a time or two, to see how it works. Some people I know buy the worst bunch of cow one has ever seen. Pasture them, fatten them up, let them calf and sell them. But for your own beef cattle you want to eat, those black and white face calves look healthy.

We live in the sticks and DSL is not offered or anything else for that matter, so we bought an air card from Verizon. The service on it is $68 a month for 3G service. 4G is offered in our area but we use alot of data and on our 3G plan it is unlimited so for now we are stuck with what we have until something better comes along.

I have a 3 and it has more than enough juice for my 62's. Even if I wanted to upgrade my speakers, there still enough power. But if I had to do it over I would get the 5. I can't buy a pre-amp/ processor with out having to buy another 2 channel amp if I want to run a 5.1. I see that you already have an amp so the 3 would work just fine unless your hurting for space.

I want to say Thank You for your service to this country. I also want to remember the ones we lost in war and there family's they left behind. My prayers go out to the men and women still overseas still fighting that war. I pray they come home soon. And I pray our Creature looks after there familys while they're not at home.
