Thanks for all your help looks like i have some decision making to do.

spending less is always a plus! and i may change my speakers in the future but right know i am pretty happy so i think i may go the way of the umc1 and the xpa-5 i would love to see it set up in person are there dealers or can u only get it from them i live about 45 miles south of chicago. dose any 1 know of a dealer who would have this locally.

I just read some info on the Emotiva very impressive. my big ? is would i benifit greatly using the with my klipsch system i hve now. and by that do i need that kind of power or the bigger ? will it be useful or overpower what i have. just getting back into my home theater and not real sure and probably have a ton of ?s

sorry my current recevier is a vsx 1015tx but it has a failing sub preout.

I have klipsch RF62 floors a RC62 center and RS52 surrounds and a powered sub. i have a farily large room 26x18. I just upgraded my tv and am now looking to change every thing over to hdmi old set did not have hdmi. I will only be running 3 things through the receiver HD cable, HD xbox, and HD bluray. no 3D i use my speakers for music and movies and a little gaming. I am trying to decide between the pioneer elite vsx-33 or sc-35. or if u know of another reciever that would work well with my setup. thanks for any help just want the right receiver if i am going to lay down the cash.

I just upgraded my tv i have klipsch RF62 fronts RC62 center RS52 surround and a 12"sub and i was looking at the pioneer elite sc-35 and vsx-33. i have a farily large room 18 x 26. my old recevier gave up on me the sub pre out. so i want to upgrade all my new stuff is hdmi. and these receivers look nice but i was wondering if i needed the ice amp with the klipsch or if the vsx33 would be fine?

I am looking at both the pioneer elite sc 35 and the vsx 33. I have klipsch RF62 floor RC62 center RS52 surround. My room is L shaped it is 26' long and in the narrow part it is about17' wide and 18' long untill the L than it gets about 22' deep. the tv is in the short part of the L shape and the couch is across from it on the long wall. I was wondering do i need the bigger amp in the 35 or would the 33 be ok just wondering what would be the right choice for movies gaming and music. thanks for any help. and the reason for the new receiver is that the old one did not do hdmi and lost the sub preout just bought a new tv and swiching everything over to hdmi.

i to had a sales man try to jam paradine on me he even got me to take it home saying it will sound great in my home. i owned a klipsch senergy f2 system first and the paradine sounded horribile compared to the senergy system so i called and said i sill dont like the paradine system and they told me i must have it hooked up wrong so they came and looked at it and every thing was fine and i was still unhappy they thuoght it sounded great so i took out my senergy system set it up right next to the paradine and showed them how much better it sounded they to my suprise agreed so i got them to take back the paradine and got a great new referance system and sold my senergy system to my brother so in my dealings snergey systems are quite good referance is awsome and paridine sucks! i now will always be a klipsch man.
