  1. It looks like this deal will not happen. The owner lives 45 miles from me but insists on shipping them at his expense? I questioned this logic a couple of days ago but have not gotten a reply. The seach continues. cubdog
  2. Thanks Chuck. Does that make them I's or II's? Also can anyone tell me the difference between version I and II? Thanks again. cubdog
  3. I'm working on buying some Cornwalls and am wondering if anyone can tell me when they were built. The serial numbers are 22t643 and 22t644. Thanks. cubdog
  4. I just saw this. What a bummer. A great player who never got the recognition he deserved. cubdog
  5. I have an Onix SP-3 tube amp. 38 watts per channel. They can be had for $500 to $600 used or new B stock for $700 through AV123. I love mine. cubdog
  6. Well I'm glad I'm not alone here. I have a remastered CD version and find it to be almost unlistenable. I freaked the first time I listened to it on a new set of speakers I had gotten. But thank God it was the recording. cubdog
  7. Enjoy the Blueberry and happy Fathers Day. I tried to convince my dogs that a Blueberry would be a good gift but apparently they misunderstood. All I got was a card. cubdog
  8. Thanks for the link. Those look like all the ones I have seen. It's funny because the pair I'm considering look "right" i.e. if these are some sort of repacement they were done by someone who knows what they are doing. Of course my concern is how these replacements would affect the sound. Did any speaker in the KG line use a flat passive? cubdog
  9. Hello guys, new here. I usually hang out on AK or Club Polk but a friend of mine, who is a member here, has been extolling the virtues of Klipsch speakers and I have a line on some KG 4's. My question is this, can anyone descibe what the passive woofer should look like. The pair I found has a flat rubber like material. It is not concave like the passives on Polk Monitors. I'm not sure if it correct or has been changed. Also, what is a fair price for a pair in average condition? Any help will be greatly apprecieated. Thanks. cubdog
