Not putting down the sound quality of the VSX-1019AH-K, but it felt really cheaply made. This is a big thing for me when buying anything of value. I ended up buying after listening to the Onkyo TX-SR-607 with my speakers. Clean sound with plenty of power, connections and looks really nice.

I agree, but how do all the other said receivers sound with my Klipsch speakers? Thank you all for the great information so far!

I'm going to buy it tonight, but wont get it connected till the weekend. I have looked at all the receivers in this price range and they all appear to have the same bells and whistles. I really love the look of the Pioneer.

How well does Pioneer match up with my Klipsch speakers?

I have had my NAD since it came out, love it very much. The NAD powered the B&W 602 v3's I just sold.

Thanks guys! So the smaller center channel was not doing it for me after all. The two smaller mains still sound amazing to me. I ended up exchanging the smaller center for the XL-23, wow what a difference. Much fuller sounding and much more depth on the action scenes. Klipsch really hit a home run with these moderately priced speakers.

These are only rated to handle 50 wpc, what would happen if i connect my NAD 70wpc amp to them? Is this a bad thing?

You are right, was kind of in a hurry when posting. So even with wide dispersion with horns, you still would toe in. Just as normal, i will have the wife change positions while I listen. Thanks guys!

Thank you for the information, but as I said in my post I'm not a newb when it comes to home audio. Thought maybe there was a special way for horn type speakers.

Just bought my first pair of Klipsch speakers today XL-12LCR for the center and XB-10 for mains. I must say I love these speakers very much. As soon as the sales guy turned them on I fell in love. I power these with an older NAD T753 70 wpc A/V Receiver.
