Good evening one and all............time to spin up some vinyl on the new system, got to labour this week, so want to finish up the weekend with some music.......Somehow, into a YES prog rock mood tonight. Lets see where it goes. 🍷

Thank you for the kind words! Yes, the black cables you see there are the 'quad' XLR's (balanced line) along with a 12v. signal line from the Parasound P6 preamp to the A-21 amp and onto the 1600x subwoofer. VERY carefully laid down straight and flat (an OCD thing ) and taped down with clear packing tape at intervals until I figure out a cable cover management system. I am the only one here, so I know not to step or trip on them .

Good evening friends! Well, nothing like taking on some classic Dave Brubeck. This very good re-release on 180 gram is a great recording. Heard now for the FIRST TIME with good ol' Kinkless T88's in Ultra-Linear mode. Got my 19 Crimes bottle of red (aged in RUM barrels). Ready to finish out my evening before hitting the rack.

.....Ok, going to wrap it up for the evening. I decided to put the beautifully polished metal cage on the R8. Got the BIAS voltages adjusted to the 'nines'. Wanted to put the cover on to complete the designed look. More tomorrow evening my friends! Good night from 'Longfellow Music Hall 1'

Thank you Paul. I bought the Willsenton R8 ! Only learned about it last week, and decided from the reviews that it was top quality build at a wonderful price point. I ordered it the same day I picked up the new Forte' 4's The R8 is in piano black finish with black satin accents, a first rate Asian integrated with enough power to hurt your ears if you are not careful . Here is my current play, ELP's first. Also, a photo of the unit with all metal remote control! Can't say enough about this new system!!

Thanks Paul, well, I am enjoying the heat as I type, the amp has been on (day two) for just over 3 hours. Should help with my heat pump heating system this winter . I will have more photos up tonight, as it is lunch time now here in MA. and I am continuing my listening but jumping around with digital sources. VINYL this evening for sure. I was thinking Paul, that your crossovers would look great with some HOT valves on them too !
