  1. I have tried every possible option with the dlink media lounge. I did return it to best buy. I have been looking at the roku m1000. The dlink will always sort alphebetically no matter if it is by album genre, artist, playlists I have made on the computer, does not seem to matter. If I understand you correctly, the roku will not change the original order of the songs?
  2. I have ordered from them with great results. I live in Idaho and they are in Las Vegas NV. I called them and if I ordered on the phone he gave me free shipping and lowered the price by $50.00. I ordered four RS-35 surround speakers from them. Before I ordered them I called Klipsch to find out if there were any authorized Klipsch dealers online and they are the ones that gave me the site of accousticsounddesign.com.
  3. I recently purchased a Dlink DSM 520 Media Lounge Digital Audio Receiver. It streams all of my music (wireless over 802.11g) to my home theater. It works OK but its biggest down fall is that it puts all of the music in alphebetical order. Many albums need to be played in the order the songs were recorded. I can make play lists on the unit but it is very slow and cumbersome ( have over 300 CD's on my computer and the play lists are created one song at a time). If I use its supplied software and make a play list there, when it is transfered to the unit it again puts them in alphebetical order. I have talked to tech support, somewhere in India, and they are not any help at all. I have decided to return the Dlink Media lounge and look for something else. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this type of unit? Thanks for your help.

  5. I recently purchased some rs-35's online. I called Klipsch and verified which sites were authorized klipsch dealers. The site is acousticsounddesign.com. I ordered by phone and they sold them to me for $350 per pair and free shipping. If you order on the internet they are $398 a pair. They still have black ones. This site is out of Las Vegas NV. They still had a good supply. You might check with them and see if they can accomodate you with exactly what you need.
  6. I think you made an excellent decision. I recently purchased the Reference 35 Home Theater. I have 2 RF-35 front, RC-35 center, 2 RS-35 surround, 2 RS-35 rear surround, and a RW-12 sub. I love it and is sounds great being driven by a Yahama RX-V1600. If it sounds good to you, you made the right choice. It is always possible to spend more money but there comes a time that we have to be practical. I also learned that Klipsch will always have something better on the way. You could wait for the best model but that would require waiting forever.
  7. I have a vaulted ceiling and have two RS-35's hanging from the ceiling. They work well with the omnimount. The RS-42, 52, and 62 have the threaded hole for omnimounts as well. I suppose it depends on how high your ceilings are. The RS- 52 that I looked at had two threaded holes for the omnimount so one would need two mounts per speaker. With the omnimount the speakers can be aimed for the best listening.
  8. I called Klipsch and they gave a few web sites that are authorized Klipsch dealers. The sites are Vanns (a store in Montana), acousticsounddesign.com, sound distributors, and one call. I ordered mine Tuesday morning from acousticsounddesign.com and they will be here Thursday. Vanns was sold out. I got two for the surround and two for the back at a price of $350 per pair with free shipping. It all comes with the Klipsch warrenty.
  9. I checked with Klipsch support and with omnimount and both stated that the 10 lb rating is plenty to hold the rs-35.
  10. I have been in the process of building my Home theater. I currently have a Yahama RX-V1600, two RF-35 fronts, RC-35 Center and an RW-12 Sub. I am trying to buy two RS-35 surround speakers and two more RS-35's for the rear. The local dealer here is having problems finding RS-35's. He only has white ones left in his inventory. I want black ones. My question is what speaker would be a good replacement for the RS-35? I live in Twin Falls, Idaho so I don't have many choices for shopping for high end equipment. Is there an on line "Klipsch Authorized" dealer I could buy from? I want them to be a good match for the rest of the system. Thanks for your help
  11. I agree with the stronger mount for the ceiling but are the threads the same size to fit the speaker. I have been looking at all the omni mounts and it seems that as they get stronger the bolt diameter and thread count change.
  12. I like the stands but in my house they won't work. For the rear the only room I have in on the ceiling. If I looked at the omnimount correctly, it should work on the ceiling as well. Thanks
  13. I am running RF35 fronts, RC35 center with an RW12 sub. All powered by a Yahama rx-v1600. I will post pictures when it is finished. This system is replacing an old Carver (the receiver) and JBL L-100 speakers. The JBL's I bought in 1976. I love the sound of the Klipsch.
  14. Thanks so much for the picture. Now I understand how those mounts work. You have been very helpful!
  15. Do I have to drill holes in the speaker or will it mount with the threaded hole in the speaker?
  16. That is correct. Two for surround duty and the other two for surround back duty. This completes my 7.2 system. I have to mount on the ceiling because there is not a wall in the back. My living room and kitchen are one big room. Thanks
  17. I recently bought some rs-35's. I am putting one on each side and two hanging from the vaulted ceiling. Is there a bracket that anyone recommends, especially for the ceiling mount? Thanks
  18. I bought the yamaha RXV1600 and it was $800.00. It was well worth the price!
