  1. Welcome to the club. I've been posting on this forum for years and I can no longer stand it [;)]

We can't either....bwaaaaaaah! [:D] Hey Craig, sorry you couldn't make the trip to Bethesda[:(]

Hopefully next time[Y] Welcome UK fan, and yes, ONE GREAT GROUP[:)]

  2. K w/Y

What is it your judging in Richmond?

    Steve

MECA VA State finals (NEW SPONSOR@ a place called "The Factory", and projected to be a heavy turnout for Sound Quality, possibly more than Sound Pressure entries!

Car audio, and luckily I won't have to mess w/Installation or RTA (Real-Time Analysis) testing this time[:D]

I'll definitely be getting to listen to ALOT OF MUSIC this weekend.

  3. Candy Dulfer's NEW CD "Candy Store" was just released in September and was #8 on the Jazz Hit List last week:

Some of my favorite tracks are "11:58", "Everytime", and Finsbury Park (2007 version).

Has quite a mix of tracks that offers quite a variety of selections. Funk, some latin Mamba rhythm, and smooth jazz you will find on this release.

  4. We had a double appearance last night here on the Del-Mar-Va peninsula, and it featured Brenda Russell and Candy Dulfer. If you haven't ever seen Candy in person, I highly recommend the show. Her style may not be to everyone's liking, but she offers a variety of sax tunes that is sure to satisfy some of the listeners. [8]

God, I'm in LOVE[W], but you know how those long-distance relationships work! US and Holland just too many miles.....Sorry to dissappoint you Candy[8-)]

  5. That's cool Larry, and I'm really pumped now after seeing Brenda Russell and Candy Dulfer last night. Even had some time to chew the fat w/Ulco Bed (lead guitarist and song writer w/Candy for the past 15 years).

What a show, and if you ever get the chance to see Candy, I suggest you jump at the opportunity as she really puts on a GREAT SHOW.

Darn, I was also looking forward to meeting Craig, Michael, and Parrot

  6. Gary, I need to run a set of Mapquest directions from the other direction, and cannot remember exactly how I backtracked myself home from the last visit. Can you shoot me a PM on your address so I can run the route.

#2 Exactly what time should I roll in Saturday?

  7. Here we go again, and not surprising, but looks like our MECA VA finals will be that Sunday 10/21 in Richmond @ the "The Laboratory", so looks like I'll be homesteading the Western shore for a couple days.

Larry, it may be better if I just meet you guys at Gary's if this is where everyone will be in the early afternoon. Sorry, as I intended to start out early IF I DIDN't have this judging committment.

    Mark
