  4. Yes, don't get hung up on watts!! dB output is more of an indication of "loudness;" or just listen for yourself and compare! A lot of companies are less "scrutinized" for wattage claims than others...for now.
  5. It sounds like it could be a ground loop hum coming from whatever you have your coax connected to. Are they all plugged into the same outlet?

  7. It is actually highly recommended that you stack your subwoofers on top of one another. This will produce the best low freq. sound. You can get cables as long as you want, however.
  8. That means it's your soundcard or software. Try reinstalling drivers, or reseat your soundcard on a different slot of your motherboard.
  9. Swap the green and purple cables in the soundcard. Does the problem stay with the same speaker, or is it now a different one?
  10. Make sure WinDVD is configured for SPDIF output.

  12. Actually, Justin, we had 11 SWS's hooked up to one GMX D5.1, and the sats kept up perfectly!

  14. What kind of soundcard do you have? If it's an audigy, make sure digital output only is selected, and the sample rate is set to 48 or lower.
  15. I wouldn't say that's normal, no! Do you have another device you can test the speakers with, such as a portable cd player, to rule out any soundcard/software problems? Send me an email if you continue to have trouble.
