sorry justin, i wasnt clear, i only get the hiss, which is more like a crackle when sound is being played. BUT im gonna try another puter tonight hopefully.

i tryed putting both rears on one rear channel, thus using only 3 channels. i get the same results,

moved the sc, still get buzzing try again

ok, second set of 4.1s set it all up running win 2k pro and sb audigy gamer when all 4 sats are plugged in, i get a hising from the rear speakers. if i unplug either rear, i have 3 clean sats. today i switched the cables in the back of the puter and its the same deal, but with the fronts now... any ideas?

i get back to school after a month break, i left the 4.1s at school, ( i craved them over break) i downloaded the docs from creative, hooked em up, and noticed that i have no power. i dissconnected everything, tried a dfferent power outlet and still nothing. the only thing i cant think is maybe a power surge at school over the break? I got these as a gift friom my parents about 3 months ago. anything else i should try?
