[Why vinyl?]

I have several direct to disk recordings.Mostly jazz.I find that cd's sound like your listening through the screen door.These lp's are much have much more depth and sounstage than my cd's

It holds a deep meaning for me as my son is a Marine stationed in Afghanistan.he could have entered any college in the country and been starting a career in business or architecture.When I asked him why he joined when he was 17.So my brother or someone else would not have to go.His mind was set after 9-11 to serve his country.I will always honor with reverence those who parished that sunny September morning.And those known and unknown in hallowed graves around the world.

I think the JBL Lancer 99 is one the best bookshelf speakers ever made.The LE-14A woofer is a real thumper in that cabinet.They image really well also.

Since i got a pair of Altec Model 18.Thats about all I listen to.The 604 8H speaker is hard to beat in a large cabinet.

The finest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing were Veterans.I think of my step father though gone 25 plus years.He fought at D-day Battle of the Bulge and Batstonge among others.I thank God for my 20 year old son A Marine who left his family behind to serve in Afghanistan.As long as i have breath in my body I will thank them everyday for my freedoms.I know when I leave this world my last thoughts will be of my family and the hundreds of men who were cut from a different cloth.Such good men and women..

Blues is an outstanding on vinyl.As you can see by my avatar I have been a Hendrix fanatic for years.1983 A Merman I sould Turn To Be on Electric Ladyland is my favorite piece.Jimi was as much an innovator in the studio as he was an outstanding blues interpeter.When you consider he could neither read or write music mahes him even nore incredible.Machine Gun is my favorite guitar solo.

Speaker Services in Memphis or Bill Legall of Millersound in Pa. are the best I have used.Bill has 50 years plus.His work has been featured in the new yoker magazine.A real gentleman also.

They will sound incredible with two.the seller kind of knows what he has.The woofers will fetch a grand or more.the horns who knows.
